Question:

Im looking to purchase a set of new leaf springs for my boat trailer. Im not sure of the axle rating, it is 1 7/8inch square 4 lug. The boat is a 1648 aluminum flat boat with 25 hp go devil surface drive, if that helps. Attached photo shows dimensions of the mounts. Can you please assist me. Also will need any associated hardware.

When picking out leaf springs there are two important things needed. You first need to get a spring that is rated for the weight of your trailer and then get one that is the proper length.

Since you sent us a drawing that shows your slipper springs being 24-7/8 inches in length what you would need to do is determine what axle capacity you need. For a 2k axle you would need is the part # SP-179275 or for 1k axle part # SP-177275. Or for 1,500 lb axle you would need part # SP-178275.
