Replacement for 26-1/2 Inch Long Slipper Springs

The length of my old slipper springs on my trailer is 26.5 inches. There doesn’t seem to a comparable new spring that length. Will the 30 inch spring that you sell fit?

How are you measuring your old slipper springs? There are a few different ways which is why I ask. If you take a look at the attached photo you can see the different methods. Please let me know which points you are measuring from in addition to the width of the spring, and axle capacity on your trailer.

With that in mind it is also important to note that a leaf spring will flatten over time which will then in turn cause them to be longer than they were when originally installed on the trailer. Therefore, if the springs are 26.5" long now when measuring from the center of the eye to the end of the spring then you could have very well had 24-5/8" long springs on the trailer when they were first installed. If that is the case then you can use part # SP-177275 for 1-3/5" wide 1,000 lb axles, part # SP-178275 for 1-3/4" wide 1,500 lb axles, or part # SP-179275 for 1-3/4" wide 2,000 lb axles.
