Hi, everyone, Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our Carr MAXgrip flip step for your trailers. It's considered a flat mount. This one is a galvanized steel, plain color with LED lights included. Folks, it's gonna be 36" wide, 8 1/2" deep, great for high visibility and safer loading in low light conditions with the built-in LED lights. So I'll throw up an image of those to start with.
So keep in mind, these are just a amber kind of color. They're not super bright, but again, they're just giving you some visibility, pointing right down at the steps in low light conditions. They are a spring-loaded connection. You have all the hardware included for mounting them. And obviously, this part here would be mounted and stationary, and then the step itself could pivot up or down.
But basically, whenever it's time to pivot, you would rotate the step down, and I'm doing it backwards obviously, but the spring bars here built into the steps make it real easy to fold up or down. You've got the LED lights kind of hidden in here. They match the color nice and perfect. You have a nice sharp tread design here, that diamond tread here. And then on the side you have black plastic caps to protect from sharp edges as well.
And as you can see, it's hollow all the way through so it's gonna be great for letting mud, debris, snow fall through there, dirt whatnot, and not get everything all caked on and all that kind of stuff. Again, galvanized finish so you don't have to worry about rust, corrosion, those kind of things either. So a very simple install. You get all the hardware, it's all galvanized as as well. We do offer this in a high visible yellow and a black powder-coat finish as well.
