Your trailer should be easy to access - no matter the time of day. This flip-down step with LED lighting ensures safe footing with a non-slip surface and a 500-lb capacity. Folds away neatly and out of the way when not in use. Made in the USA.
Additional mounting brackets may be necessary for proper installation, which are not included.

Hi everyone, Steve here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at our CARR MAXgrip Flip Step for your trailer. Now this particular one is a black finish, 36 inch wide with included LED lights for helping you have better visibility and a safer footing in low light conditions. So, folks, these are a spring-loaded flip step. They're gonna deploy instantly when you need them. You simply fold them down or up to stay outta the way.
Now obviously, they're not installed on anything. So, just kinda bare with me but, normally, the step would flip up towards me, but in this case, I'm gonna go ahead and flip the mounts down and as you can hear, it's a very strong spring, and flip em back out. So again, you'd have your brackets that are included and hardware that's included. Mounting this to the trailer and then the main step itself would fold down or up as needed. As as I mentioned, you've got two little amber colored lights to give you a little bit of safer footing in low light conditions.
I'll throw an image up on the screen. I'm not lighting them up here in the studio today just 'cause they're not too bright to be honest with you, but that being said, they do light up enough to help you kinda see the step and everything. Again, in those low light conditions. That's gonna be a good thing for safety. They're right here and here.
And that's gonna be a good thing for safety because they're pointing down, especially with this being black and if it's at night, it's gonna blend in really good and you wanna make sure you're not hittin' your shin or your leg on that kinda stuff. They have a nice grip texture the way they've cut out that diamond plate tread, if you will. So, very, very nice. Looking at the back, you can see that spring steel wiring. There will be two brackets on each side of these and hardware included that's not pictured here today on the video just 'cause I left it out of the shot for space here today on the table.
But you do get all that included. Durable steel construction. You don't have to worry about chips, cracks, scratches. It's gonna resist all that and again, it's gonna be a nice, simple install provided you've got enough space on your trailer. So again, 36 inches overall on the length. Eight and a half inch wide, rated at an impressive 500 pounds capacity. So, these are big and beefy. They're gonna withhold whatever you need to while you're standing up, loading your trailer and those kinda things. Folks, I will wrap it up. Again, my name is Steve and we offer these in a couple other colors. You can check em out here at etrailer.com as well.
