Hi everyone. Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our Carr MAXgrip flip step for trailers. They're considered to flatten out. This set has LED lights in it, and it's a high visible yellow color. Now folks, these are 36 inches wide by eight and a half inches deep.
Again, that high-vis yellow, so people are gonna be able to see you. And also it includes the two little LED lights. That's gonna give you nice visibility and a safer footing and low light condition. So I'll throw an image up on the screen. As you can see, this is in the dark, not super bright, but again, they are just pointing down to give you that safer footing, and kind of know where that step is in the low light.
So just keep that in mind. It's an impressive 500-pound capacity. You get the galvanized hardware with the screws and all the hardware needed to install them on the spring mounted attachment point. So you're gonna be able to fold the actual step up or down. Obviously this part here would be mounted onto the trailer frame, and this part would be stationary.
But since it's not installed, that's the best I can show you as far as the fold. But very nice. These springs that are built in here, nice design. The powder coat's very, very thick, and it looks like it's gonna last really, really long. You're not gonna have to worry about corrosion, rust, those kind of things.
With the diamond plate shred, you have lots of grip. Everything like mud and debris could fall right through on the ground, so you don't have to worry about that stuff caking up on there over time either, so very nice design. The end caps have a nice plastic end cap on both ends, so that's gonna be nice, and another layer of protection to protect your legs and stuff if it was down and you actually ran into it or something.
