Its custom-cut optics and six ultra-bright diodes spread clean, even light that fills your trailer interior. Whether mounted on the wall or ceiling, it transforms dim cargo areas into well-lit workspaces so you can see clearly every time you load or unload.
Dust, moisture, and vapor can ruin lighting over time, but this one’s made to handle it. The molded seal gives the light an IP67 rating, keeping out water and debris so it stays reliable in damp or dusty conditions. Even if your trailer sees rain or big temperature swings, the sealed LED housing keeps things protected and working like new.
Old bulbs burn out fast and waste energy. This LED strip draws only 0.17 amps at 12V while lasting up to 50 times longer than incandescent lights. Today we're gonna take a look at the Peterson 12 inch long Great White LED Trailer interior Cove Light. Now this interior cove lighting strip will provide a nice bright light to illuminate an interior space. It is perfect for enclosed trailers, it does use molded ceiling to help resist dust, moisture, and vapor. It does have six white LEDs on it, and it is compatible with 12 volt and 24 volt systems. It is a surface mount design, you'd mount it to the trailer wall or the ceiling. It can be mounted either horizontally or vertically.
Also the shape of it allows it to fit into corners.Now the mounting hardware to install this is not included. If you notice it is a two wire design, it includes the white ground wire, the black power wire, and the lead length on those wires is about five inches. This part is made in the USA. The light out put on this is 400 lumens, it does have an IP rating of IP 67. Last thing I wanna do is give you the dimensions on this, and then we're gonna hook it up to some power to show you how bright it is.
Overall length, from the very end of the mounting bracket to the other end is right at 13 and 11/16ths. The width on it, and we're gonna do two widths. We're gonna measure the end, which is the widest part. That's gonna be right at one and 3/4 inches, then the width of just the light itself is one inch.Now what we're gonna do is hook it up to some power. Then I'll go ahead and turn off the overhead light so you can see how bright it is.
Let's hook up our white wire, hook up our power wire. I'll go ahead and turn on our 12 volt power, and there you can see with the lights on how bright it is. What I'm gonna do now is we're gonna turn off the overhead lights. There you can see for six LEDs it gives off a pretty bright light. Again it can be mounted either way.
Go back and turn on our overhead lights. Turn off our power. But that should do it for the review on the Peterson 12 inch long Great White LED Trailer interior Cove Light.

While building out my enclosed trailer to a track-day trailer, I retained the nice aluminum corner trim between the walls and ceiling of the trailer. The flush mount 358 series lights from Peterson worked perfectly on the 45 degree trim.
