Video Transcript for Installation Guide for the WeatherTech HP Front Auto Floor Mats on a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Hi, Matt etrailer. And today we're talking about the WeatherTech HP floor mats in our 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Now this will be a great option for you if you're looking for something that's gonna have a ton of coverage to it and it's gonna help keep a lot of debris from getting inside your vehicle. Because if you are working outside, you're getting a lot of dirt, mud on your shoes, you don't want that getting inside your vehicle. So this is gonna be a great way to keep your vehicle clean. So let's check 'em out.

What's gonna help this be a great fit is gonna be these holes we have in the bottom. And what that's designed to be used for is the grab onto these anchor points. You just press it down until it clicks into place, give that good fit. What's also gonna help give you a better fit is also gonna be these nibs we have on the bottom. These nibs are gonna grab onto your carpeting to prevent this from sliding around.

With the HP design, it really gives us a nice fit. This is straight outta the box and with a lot of floor mats I get, I usually have some spots where I still have some gaps, but I'm really not seeing any with the fit we have today. So I'm definitely liking that. Also, you can see we have plenty of coverage thanks to these high sidewalls. This is just my foot resting here like normally, but as you can see, there's plenty more room up here too, even on the side of there, how high this goes up, it's not gonna be very likely for anything to fall in behind here.

And as you can priority notice, we do have the cocoa color today. I'm not a super huge fan of it. I don't think it matches the interior that we have today, but there are plenty of other color options on our website. And this color might compliment the interior of your Grand Cherokee a lot better, but that's just gonna depend on what your personal preferences are and what the inside of your vehicle looks like. But we're also gonna have these channels that go all the way through.

And what these channels are designed to do is for any debris to be caught in there or any spills to be caught in there. And that's gonna run off into this larger section right here. The larger section does have these raised surfaces, and those raised surfaces are designed to help keep your feet away from any of that debris in here. And here is the driver's side, just to give you a look at it because it's gonna have all the same features as the passenger side, but just give you an idea of how everything's gonna work. We're gonna get plenty of coverage behind those pedals, which I think is really important because if you do have anything on your boots or shoes, that's definitely gonna come off when you are using your pedals. And this area where you can rest your foot too is gonna be really well covered. Now it is a little bit loose right now, but it's really not that much of an issue because I think if you are resting your foot here over time, and this is sitting inside your vehicle, that's really gonna form across those contours to give you a really nice snug fit. WeatherTech does have a lot of other options too. With this option right now we do have a little bit of flex to it that's not super flexible, but there is some bend there. And honestly, I think that's great because you don't have nothing too rigid where it's gonna be difficult to take in and out, but you don't have anything too flexible where it's gonna have a lot of spills when you do take it out of there. Like I said, WeatherTech has some more flexible options. They also have some more rigid options, but in my personal opinion, this is gonna be the pick for me. But cleaning it, it's pretty easy to do. As you can see, I left some marks behind and just come back my finger. I can take off a majority of that, but if you're looking for something that has a little bit more cleaning capabilities to it or you just have more of a heavy duty spill or some gunk on there, you can grab a rag, just wipe off a majority of that. Best case though, is just taking it outside, grabbing the hose, just hosing it down some, wiping off any of that debris and letting it dry. And afterwards you can put it back inside your vehicle as good as new. Overall, I think this is gonna be one of the best options for your front row seats so this keep any of that debris from getting inside your vehicle, especially since we do have those high sidewalls so nothing can fall in between those cracks and they are rigid enough to hold that debris and flexible enough to take in and out without anything falling out.
