This rectangular rounded light has a polished, chrome-plated housing and can be used as a clearance or side marker light. This amber light measures 4-25/32" long x 2-1/8" wide x 1-3/8" deep. The light features a replaceable, snap-on lens and easy-to-replace bulb. This light mounts on 3-7/8" centers. The light contains a single lead wire for power and is grounded through the mounting hardware.

Today we are going to take a look at Optonics Chrome-Plated Trailer Clearance Side Marker Light, part number MC81AB. Both the lens and the bulb on this light are user replaceable. It is designed to mount using mounting holes that are 3-7/8 inches on center. Included with the light, is a foam gasket that will help to seal moisture out of the light. It is a single wire system meaning there is one wire for your power source and it will ground via the metal plate and mounting hardware on the back. We will take our power supply and hook it up to so you can see how the light looks. We will connect our power to the wire lead and we will take our ground connection and clip it to the metal backing. Next, we will turn off the overhead lights so you can see how bright the light is. And there you have it, Optronics Chrome-Plated Trailer Clearance Light, part number MC81AB.
