2" Diameter round. Waterproof, incandescent trailer light serves as a clearance or side marker light when properly mounted. Durable polycarbonate housing. Recessed mount with grommet (sold separately). Accepts standard 2-prong plug. PC rated.

Optronics MC53 Series Amber Marker Clearance Light Dimensions

Sonically Sealed, Waterproof Trailer Light

The waterproof construction of this light makes it ideal for use on trailers that may be submerged, like a boat trailer. The housing and lens are sonically sealed together to create a single unit, which means that water will not get into the light and damage the diodes or circuit board.

PC-Rated Lights

A PC-rated light produces a 90-degree angle of light to either side of its centerline for a total of 180 degrees of coverage. This beam pattern can be clearly seen when you are standing directly in front of the light, as well as when you are standing on either side of the light. When properly installed, this type of light can function as both a front clearance light and a side marker light or as a rear clearance light and side marker light.

What Is Hole Size For Mounting 2 Inch Round Trailer Lights With Rubber Grommet
The item you selected, Sealed 2-1/2 Trailer Light, part # MC57AB, is a 2-1/2 inch light that will mount into a 3 inch hole using 2-1/2 inch grommet, part # A55GB. The hole size to mount a 2 inch round light flush mounted would be 2-5/16 inches. The grommet you would need for a 2 inch light would be 2 Inch Round Grommet, part # A54GB. Replacement Side Marker Light and Grommet for a Trucklite Brand Grommet and Marker Light
I went out to the warehouse and pulled grommet # A54GB and light # MC53AB. I then assemble them and the result looks exactly like your picture. I then measured the amount the lens sticks up above the grommet and came up with just under half an inch. The lens could be pressed further in. I used digital calipers to take the measurement. I also made a video showing the assembled result for you. The light takes wiring harness # A46PB if you do not already have them on your trailer.

Flush Mount Grommet and Wiring Pigtail for 2 Inch Clearance and Side Marker Lights
The Sealed, 2" Round Trailer Clearance and Side Marker Light, Flush Mount - Amber # MC53AB or the LED # MCL55AB will use the 2" Round Grommet - Flush Mount - Open Back # A54GB for installation. You will also require the wiring pigtail # A46PB which will give you 6 inches lead.

Looking for Trailer Clearance/Marker Light to Replace Trucklite Model 10
According to my research, I have found that the Trucklite model 10 clearance/side marker light measures 2-1/2 inches in diameter. Because the Optronics # MC53AB measures 2 inches in diameter, it would not be a good replacement. The Optronics # MC57AB, with its 2-1/2 inch diameter, would be the correct replacement. If you need a mounting grommet, it is available as part # A55GB. The two pin wiring pigtail is also available as part # A46PB.

Does Light # MCL50AB Use the Same Grommet as Light # MC53AB
Yes, the Sealed Miro-Flex 2" Round LED Trailer Side Marker part # MCL50AB will fit in the same grommet as the Sealed 2" Round Trailer Clearance and Side Marker Light part # MC53AB as they are both exactly 2" diameter. The LED option however is 1-3/16" tall whereas the incandescent option is 11/16" tall but as you mentioned this should not be a problem. If you need a new grommet then you can use the 2" Round Grommet part # A54GB.
