Hey Delia, we have the Curt 4-way harness part # C59236 which his a confirmed fit for your 2006 Honda Element and would be a great choice for trailer wiring. Then for a Class III hitch the Curt # 13574 also fits your vehicle, has great towing capacities, and is mostly hidden. What are you planning on towing?

I bought this hitch and harness for my 2015 Jeep Patriot. I had it installed at a local garage. Works great, no problems.

Bought this hitch and the appropriate wiring harness for my 2015 Jeep Patriot. Very pleased with the hitch and harness. Excellent installation videos on eTrailer website. Had to drop the muffler, as expected, and put one side of the vehicle up on jack stands to run the wiring from the hitch to the battery. All needed parts were included except waterproof wire connectors and flexible plastic shielding for wires. Assembled hitch and wiring as recommended. Hitch fit perfectly to frame. Added drop- hitch and ball. Measure ball and trailer tongue hight on a level surface so they match before buying the right hitch to insert into the receiver. Pulled light utility trailer (loaded). Also hooked up chain to pull rose bush stumps out of the garden. Worked great - strong and stable. My only caution is to plan an adequate amount of time under the vehicle to run the wires, and be careful to run and strap them up away from hot exhaust components and suspension components (like springs and shocks) that move and could wear through the wires over time. Know the pulling and braking capacities of your vehicle before pulling your loads. Enjoy! Art H
