apart a brand new car to install a hitch so the instructions
and the video were invaluble. This is the 2nd or 3rd time I
bought from etrailer.com and No Regrets.
This hitch was not a quick install, but the etrailer instructions and video made it straight forward task that only took time. After the install the hitch was completely hidden and only the receiver could be seen. It was perfect for my bike rack on the back of the small Toyota CH-R. Thank you!!
Great hitch and was easy for me to install using the video.
I was offered faster shipping from etrailer on the other CHR compatible Curt C11567.
Etrailer could not tell me the difference so I talked to Curt. The C11490 is end welded - bar to the end plate. The C11567 is thru welded to the end plate so the end of the bar goes thru the end plate and the bar end is open to the elements. Not sure why etrailer technicians list the C11567 as a 5/10 install compared to a more complex 10/10 for the C11490. Curt indicated the install is the same.
Perfect fit, set up and install were quite easy. Removing the bumper and putting all back together takes about 1hr 1/2 alone for one person. Happy with the product specifically for Toyota CH-R. Thanks for the new trailer hitch!
