Hello Douglas, thank you for sharing your experience. I’m really sorry to hear about the frustration you’ve run into, I know I’d feel the same way in your shoes. Just to clarify, the installation instructions actually come directly from Curt, the manufacturer, so we aren’t able to make changes to them ourselves. I will look into this further.
