Features to know about

Carry What You Need Without Overloading: Class I 1-1/4" Receiver Built for Light-Duty Towing

This Curt Class I hitch is made for smaller towing and accessory setups. With a 2,000 lb maximum gross trailer weight and 200 lb tongue weight rating, it’s ideal for hauling lightweight trailers, carrying bikes, or mounting a cargo carrier. The 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" receiver opening works with a wide range of light-duty towing gear, so it’s easy to get more utility from your vehicle without stepping up to a heavier hitch.

Strong and Precise by Design: Fully Welded, Custom-Fit Construction

The receiver is built from gloss powder-coated steel and welded with robotic precision for strength and consistent alignment. Because the fit is custom, the hitch lines up with existing factory holes—no welding or fabrication needed. That solid mount keeps the hitch stable under load and gives you confidence when towing or attaching accessories.

Simple Bolt-On Install: Everything You Need Is in the Box

This hitch uses a bolt-on design that installs with the included hardware kit—no welding, cutting, or special tools required. The instructions walk through every step clearly, and all hardware like fishwire and bolts are part of the package. A basic socket set and torque wrench are all you’ll need to get it mounted securely.

Built to Last Through the Miles: Dual-Coat Finish Resists Rust

A protective base coat sits under a gloss black powder coat finish to fight corrosion and keep the hitch looking clean for years. That extra layer of protection means less worry about rust after wet drives or salty winter roads. It’s a durable setup that stays solid trip after trip.

Installation was straightforward, just had to pull the bumper a little bit to reach tight spaces. No removal necessary. Construction is sturdy.

Customer service was top notch. Special thanks to Becky B for taking care of me and getting a new hitch sent out when mine got stolen from the porch!

Installation was pretty easy and able to be done without the need of two people with the help of a block to support the hitch. I’ve only used it for a bicycle rack and not for pulling a trailer. It seems to be great for the rack but not sure how the car would hold up to a trailer.

Trailer hitch works as it should. I tried to get help with installing it with etrailer because the instructions are vague and were not specific to my car. No one could answer my question in regards to if I had to take the bumper cover off to install it. It was very tight fit without taking the bumper cover off but would have nice to know before I did the job. They should have specific instructions for each type of car the hitch fits on.

Item was as decribed. It took my husband and I an hour to install. Everything worked as described in the directions. The only real problem was removing the fish wire from the 1/2 carriage bolt after the nut was put on. (not a lot of room to work) Other than that it was rather easy.
I would recommend etrailer to any one.
I also purchased the plug and play wire harness for my sentra.
I watched the online video for installing the harness perfect. 1hr.

Price was the best I could find, well over $100 cheaper than local. Installation was a breeze, took more time to get my tools out and put them up than actually installing this thing. Been pulling a small boat and using a bike rack. No problems and looks great 1 year later. No signs of rust or cracks. Would definitely buy for another vehicle.

Not bolt on ready as advertised, have to drill your bumper to install the bolts. Also had to buy new bolts that were 3/8" longer as the provided ones weren't long enough to bolt on directly. Square hole slightly larger than needed so makes the carrier feel sloppy as it can wiggle inside the hitch. But otherwise it's a nice piece for the price.

I ordered the T-One vehicle wiring harness for my 2010 Nissan Sentra. Wow! The last time I wired a vehicle for trailer lights, I nearly needed an electrical degree. The folks who produced this harness has it all thought out for you and makes for a simple and reliable installation. In addition, the design provides you with all modular connectors, so there is no need to cut into the wiring on your expensive automobile. (No potential faulty hookups here!) You've got absolute safety without affecting your vehicle's warranty. Definitely worth the price, and you've got the excellant service that etrailer provides to each and every customer. Many thanks to Drew for his help in making my selection!

2012 Nissan Sentra
Very sturdy, installation was not difficult with common hand tools took about an hour with 2 persons I would guess over 2 hours for a solo install.
DOES FIT 2012 SER SPEC-V
Will add pictures to confirm.

  • Installation Help for Curt Class I Trailer Hitch on 2007 to 2012 Nissan Sentra
I have attached a link to the installation instructions for the Curt Class I Trailer Hitch, # C11370 and links to trailer hitch installation tips that will help, but we have not had a chance to install this hitch on a Nissan Sentra yet because we rely on local customers and rental companies for our vehicle supply. The installation instructions that are linked include step by step directions. The most difficult part of this installation will be installing the 7/16 inch carriage bolts in...

  • Installation Instructions For Curt Hitch C11370
Unfortunately we do not have a video of the installation for the Curt # C11370 yet, but I have attached the instructions in case you haven't seen those; it should help clarify things. You will need to remove the spare from the trunk for installation.

  • etrailer and Curt Class III Trailer Hitches for 2020 Honda Odyssey
Between the etrailer # e98855 and the Curt # C13370 Class III trailer hitches for your 2020 Honda Odyssey I do recommend the # e98855 for a couple of reasons. The etrailler # e98855 and the Curt # C13370 are essentially the same hitch except for two key features. The etrailer hitch # e98855 has a matte black finish and the Curt # C13370 has a glossy black finish. I recommend the etrailer hitch over the Curt because I personally prefer the matte black finish and it costs a little less....

  • Best trailer hitch and bike rack for a 2008 Nissan Sentra
We have two Class I Trailer hitch recievers to fit your 2008 Nissan Sentra. The Draw-Tite # 24794 fits the standard and SE-R models while the Curt # C11370 is only confirmed to fit the standard Sentra. I recommend the Draw-Tite, as Curt makes you use a support strap, # 18050 with their hitch. However, the Draw-Tite does require drilling to install. In general, swing-away racks are designed for larger 2" hitches and aren't compatible with Class I hitch receivers because they will take...

  • Curt Hitch C11370 and Draw-Tite Hitch 24794 Capacity Comparison for the 2008 Nissan Sentra
Other than the fact that they install a bit differently, and the Curt model isn't compatible with the SE-R model, both hitches are similar with the same 2000 lb towing/200 lb tongue weight capacity. If you'll be using the hitch as an attachment for a hitch mounted accessory, you'll want to use the Draw-Tite model, as Curt's warranty requirements stipulate that a # 18050 support strap needs to be used for all non-trailer loads. The Draw-Tite doesn't have that requirement. You may also...
