Question:
Which of the hitches for a 2008 Nissan Sentra has more capacity?
asked by: Larry C
Expert Reply:
Other than the fact that they install a bit differently, and the Curt model isn't compatible with the SE-R model, both hitches are similar with the same 2000 lb towing/200 lb tongue weight capacity.
If you'll be using the hitch as an attachment for a hitch mounted accessory, you'll want to use the Draw-Tite model, as Curt's warranty requirements stipulate that a # 18050 support strap needs to be used for all non-trailer loads. The Draw-Tite doesn't have that requirement.
