This Curt Class I 1-1/4" trailer hitch receiver is built for light-duty towing and hauling gear. With a 1,000 lb maximum gross trailer weight and 100 lb maximum tongue weight, it’s a great way to add everyday versatility. Use it for small trailers, lightweight cargo carriers, or a bike rack when you want more capability without changing vehicles.
No welding is needed here. The hitch uses a custom fit that’s made specifically to bolt into place with the included hardware kit. It lines up with existing attachment points, so DIYers can handle the install in their driveway using basic tools. That precise fit saves time and eliminates guesswork during installation.
Durability matters when you’re towing or carrying gear. This hitch is made from fully welded steel that’s powder coated in gloss black over a protective base coat to fight rust and corrosion. The round-tube design keeps it looking clean under the bumper while staying tough enough for regular use.
Once installed, the 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" receiver opening accepts compatible drawbars, bike racks, or cargo platforms (each sold separately). The design gives you flexibility to set up your hitch for towing or to add extra storage when needed.

This Hitch has been absolutely perfect. Ive been able to bring my bikes with me anywhere I want to go! I Work in a bike shop and customers often ask about hitch installation for bike racks. I usually refer them to etrailer because of how much I trust their products. After a year 1010 recommend.

I was wondering what style of Turbo you have? i have the 2016 Veloster Turbo and i removed the Shroud all together and it still would not go and and I could not tell what was impeding i thought it was just the exhaust and maybe it was a design change... any help would be great..

Thomas B., Thomas, I cut away the plastic shroud on the drivers side of the vehicle. This allowed the hitch to be bolted in place. I had to bench press the hitch in place and my wife ed to bolt that runs horizontal. It required a bit of force but once the bolt was in place, it snugs up nicely. I also used a couple of zip ties to approximate the exhaust pipe support and the body. It raised the exhaust pipe up just a bit to clear the metal ringflange ? so that it would not bang on the hitch.Hope this helps,

The exhaust system at the rear of the car is attached to the vehicle using rubber isolators and easily bendable exhaust hangers. Because of this, the actual position of the exhaust system can vary a bit from vehicle to vehicle. When the hitch is installed, its position will not vary from vehicle to vehicle. The large tolerances in the exhaust system is what can allow the rattle to occur. In other words, its not the fault of the hitch or its design. Youll just need to create a bit more space between the hitch and the exhaust. This is a common occurrence that is easily remedied by slightly bending the exhaust hanger. Ive linked you to a help article that addresses how to easily fix the rattle.
