To install the Curt trailer hitch # C11254, on your 2012 Hyundai Veloster, there is some drilling involved but only to enlarge existing holes on the frame where the hitch will bolt into place. Take a look at the instructions I have linked for you.

This is a Class I hitch and it has a gross trailer weight of 1,000 pounds and a tongue weight capacity of 100 pounds. Consult your vehicle owners manual to determine if you can tow anything with the hitch. It comes with a ball mount, hitch pin and clip. For a 1-7/8 inch ball use # 19256 and for a 2 inch ball use # 19258.

For trailer wiring, use # C56153. I have included a link to the trailer wiring instructions as well.

If you are planning on using the hitch for a bike rack or cargo carrier, Curt states you must use stabilization strap, # 18050, for their warranty requirements. Also the combined weight of the carrier and the objects loaded on it cannot exceed the 100 pound tongue weight capacity of the hitch.
