Question:

Do you make small hitch for Hyundai Veloster model cars? Does model year matter? I am looking for used vehicle. How/where does hitch install? Rear is fairly low slung and has dual central exhaust pipes. If yes, does installation involve cutting into bumper facia?

The trailer hitch we offer for the Hyundai Veloster is the Curt Class I Round Tube Receiver Hitch # C11254. This trailer hitch is confirmed to fit 2012-2015 model year Velosters. This trailer hitch has a maximum towing capacity of 1,000 pounds and a tongue weight capacity of 100 pounds.

The hitch installs on the frame in pre-drilled holes and the receiver will sit below the exhaust. One hole will need to be enlarged to fit the installation hardware. No trimming or cutting of the bumper fascia is required. I have attached an installation video of this hitch on a 2013 Velostar, as well as the installation instructions for the hitch, for you.

For Curt warranty purposes, a support strap # 18050 is required to be used with all non-trailer loads.

Based on my research, the owner's manual for the Veloster does not recommend towing a trailer with your vehicle. I recommend checking your owner's manual before towing a trailer.
