Question:
I need to replace an inadequate hitch pin on a small trailer pulled by a golf cart. The PA97VR would work, except that I need the pin extension to be 1 1/4, min. Do you have something like that? Thanks.

Hey Phil, thanks for reaching out. Yes, we do have spring latches with a bit more extension than the # PA97VR you mentioned.
For example, the Spring Latch w Holdback for Trailer Tailgate # F720-182Z105 has a 1/2" diameter pin and 1-1/2" of pin extension. The bracket is 3" tall x 1-1/4" wide, so a larger bracket than the # PA97VR but it has the same pin diameter and more extension.
Will that work for your trailer? What kind of trailer is it?

The F720-182Z105 will definitely solve my problem. My trailer is a small (1200 lb. capacity) trailer designed for lawn tractors. Even with smaller loads, the hitch pin assembly bends, so I have a stronger bracket to weld this spring latch on to. Thanks for the follow-up.
