Hey Tex,

The Curt Custom Base Plates part # C66JR are not a fit for your truck because you have a 3.0L engine. These base plates have an installation note that says that they're not a fit for trucks with 2.7L and 3.0L engines. Instead, I recommend using the Blue Ox Base Plates w/Removable Arms part # BLU24TR. The Blue Ox base plates part # BLU24TR fit models with the 3.0L Turbo Diesel but aren't the ZR2 trim, so they'll fit perfectly. Some drilling and fascia trimming will be required to get them installed; the tow hooks will also remain off the truck after install.

We do change the manufacturer part numbers on our site, so the C66JR is the same as the Curt 70141 part number; and the Blue Ox part number for the BLU24TR base plates is BX1754.

As for the battery disconnect, I wouldn't use the Seaflo battery disconnect for flat towing your truck becuase it was designed for marine and RV use. I'd recommend using the Roadmaster Battery Disconnect for Flat Towing Diesel Vehicles part # RM93MR because it's specifically designed for flat towing.

Do you also need the wiring and braking system for your flat tow?
