Does this Curt baseplate work with 2026 GMC 1500 with 3.0 diesel?

It sure does Bob and congrats on the new truck. The Curt Custom Base Plate Kit item # C66JR will indeed fit the 2026 GMC Sierra 1500 with a 3.0 diesel engine. The only models it doesn't fit for that year are the AT4X models with the AEV bumper.
Here are the rest of the parts you will need to flat tow your 2026 GMC Sierra 1500:
Tow Bar and Safety Chains - etrailer XHD Non-Binding Tow Bar for Blue Ox and Curt Base Plates item # e67ZR
Wiring Harness - Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles - item # RM-15267
Battery Disconnect - Roadmaster Battery Disconnect for Towed Vehicle item # RM93MR for a diesel engine
Supplemental Braking System - Curt RVi Series Shadow 2 Flat Tow Brake System item # RVI94FR for a permanent install or the Curt RVi Series 4 Portable Flat Tow Brake System item # RVI44FR for a portable system.
High Low Adapter - The tow bar needs to be within 3" of level. If you measure the height of the inside top of the hitch receiver tube on your RV, and the height difference is more than 3 inches above/below the base plate tab height, you'll need a high/low adapter. The reason for looking at Curt was I did not want to disssemble the front of truck. I have the battery disconnect fm last truck along with chains and tow bar, think air force one since my Entegra has the air on rear bumper. I saw the wireless lights on ur site so that should do it, tell me Install Curt I do not need to dissemble the the front end?
