This cover is built from high-grade polycarbonate (Lexan) that won’t crack, bubble, or fade—even between -50°F and 200°F. The matte black finish resists scratches and UV damage, staying cooler to the touch than metal in summer heat. Inside the canister, water is channeled through two drain tubes that route moisture out through factory bed holes, so the retracted cover stays dry and mildew-free. With no hinges or joints to freeze or wear out, it’s a design that holds up year after year in any climate.
Whether you’re loading bulky tools or camping gear, the sealed ball-bearing rollers let the cover glide open and closed smoothly without lubrication. You can roll it back with one hand, latch it anywhere along the rails, or fully retract it into the compact canister. The side rails mount just 1" above the bed for a sleek, low-profile appearance. One year in and I have no problems with this cover. Still opens and closes smoothly. It does take up more room than I was expecting but its not something that would keep me from buying it again. I have added the Yakima rack to it and it all works great.

Terrific product. Ive been very pleased. The only only improvement I can suggest, improve the drainage hose attachment fittings. They come loose too easily.

Glad to hear it looks great, Shelli! I have had a similar cover on my Silverado since 2018 and the retractable covers are the way to go, at least in my opinion. I haven't any issues with the canister making loading up the bed with stuff cause any problems and I don't think you will either. ^___^ What are you typically keeping in your bed? I always have a milk crate with survival type stuff in it, just in case!
