Your Fas-Top tonneau cover protects your tools and other smaller gear, but it can't fit taller cargo. This soft topper mounts on the same rails, so you can swap to full height coverage for larger gear, then swap back as needed.
You use a tonneau cover when you want low-profile bed coverage, but taller gear can force you to leave cargo exposed or change how you pack. This soft topper add-on gives you the height and coverage you need for stacked gear while still letting you fold the topper down when you need an open bed.
When you need full access for hauling larger items, like loading a piece of furniture or bulky equipment, the topper collapses and rolls up inside the bed so you can load over the rails without removing the entire system. To do that, just unzip the panels and fold the frame forward into the bed.
When parked and loading longer or awkward gear that won't fit under the topper but still needs coverage, roll up the rear window and side panels to open the back of the bed without collapsing the topper. The panels unzip, roll up by hand, and secure in place while the frame stays upright.
Once the truck bed is enclosed, airflow can become a problem. Heat, fumes, pet smells, or stale air can build up inside the bed, especially when camping or driving long distances. The mesh rear window (FT62CV - sold separately) lets air move through the bed rather than staying trapped inside.
Visibility can also be a problem. With gear stored in the bed, you may not want people seeing what's back there or looking into the truck when it's parked. The blackout rear window (FT69HV - sold separately) blocks the view into the bed so gear stays out of sight.

Hi, I'm Matt with etrailer, and today we actually have Grant here from Fas-Top. Thanks for stopping by. Hey, Matt. Not a problem. And we actually have him here for some training opportunities. We learned a ton during this session.
But before we go into all of that, let me ask you a few questions. So, how did Fas-Top really get started and what's your guys' story Well, it's a funny question, you know, people wonder, you know, with a company like this, you know, is it a quick startup Well, we actually have a lot of history in this industry. You know, my dad back in 1987, actually was part of inventing the first functioning roll up tonneau covers. There's a lot of those elements that are put into this product. So just to give a little history on the company, you know, we're a family-owned company with a high quality, you know, work ethic.
You know, ethics are a huge part of the company. And our main goal is to deliver products that exceed our customer's expectations. And I can definitely tell already, handling the tonneau cover and the topper we have today, and you can actually tell you guys put a ton of thought into the design, 'cause I've handled a lot of tonneau covers and these ones really do stand out to me. Yes, absolutely. Yeah, the Fas-Top, the lineup of family products of Fas-Top, the main thing is as you look at this, it's like, "Oh, that's another tonneau cover." Well, that's the same thing with like tires.
It's like you wouldn't know that one tire has got, you know, for cross country, you get better fuel mileage. One tire's made for all terrain, that's more for off-roading. Well, same thing with roll ups. They're not all the same. So this isn't your ordinary tonneau cover.
It's got so much more user features to it. Matt Heck yeah. Well, let's kind of jump into it then, right Yeah, let's get it. So the Fas-Top is a two in one option where you have a roll up tonneau cover, which is great for quick everyday use. And then you have that topper that's neatly stowed into the truck bed. And you can see it's just stowed under the tonneau cover. It's kind of like your four wheel drive for your truck. You're not gonna have that four wheel drive engaged all the time, but from time to time, you might need it to get out of a tight spot. That's the topper. It's like your four wheel drive. It's there when you need it and then it's out of the way when you don't. So if you gotta haul a bigger item, the topper will deploy out of the bed and double your covered storage space in minutes. Now just imagine you're handling a bulky fiberglass top, where this is a lightweight, easy to take on and off, stow it in the garage. An incredible value add to the customer, 'cause you have all those user features of the tonneau cover. Quick everyday use, and you could double the storage capacity of your truck with a collapsing topper. And it utilizes some of those tonneau cover attachment points. So you got an extremely rigid roll bar at the tailgate that locks into place with the PASI locks. And you will simply zip and seal. Zip and seal. And away you go. And just like that, you can have a rolling tonneau cover and a collapsible truck topper everywhere you go. Beside this being super easy to set up, take down, what else really stands out about the topper itself with this So the Fas-Top traveler has some unique user features to where you could roll up the side sheets. And there's a G hook fastener just like the rear window that attaches to the inside of the topper. And you can actually roll up your side sheets and have a safari mode look. So this is good for like parked scenarios, like if you're camping, or if you're at the work site, it allows for more ventilation. And then front of the bed access, if you gotta grab tools or you know, different things at the front of the bed. So that's a really popular thing for camping at the work site operations is safari mode. Also, you can replace the rear window with a blackout or a rear mesh option. So this is really expandable topper, versatile for the user and it's high quality product. And that's awesome. Especially like you said, being able to put everything up here. So when I compare this to like any type of other camper shell out there, trying to get in, especially to the sides, it's virtually impossible. It's tricky. This, it's super easy. Yes. Like you just demonstrated, it only takes like, what, a few moments Yeah, just a few moments to get it set up, and then also you can use it, as a user, you can use it dynamically to fit your needs. Now let's move over to the actual tonneau cover it. There's a lot that really does stand out about this, but do you guys have multiple variations of this Yeah, we do. Actually, we have the Fas-Top Pro, which is installed on this truck. It's the premium roll up tonneau cover. And then we have the Fas-Top Sport, which is more of a price point effective cover that kind of gets you into the lineup of the Fas-Top family of products. So the Fas-Top Pro is, it's more than just your ordinary, you know, roll up tonneau cover. Yeah, I mean you think about the tires on an automobile, you got your cross country tires that are good for fuel mileage. You got your all terrain tires that are good for off-roading. Well, what about these tonneaus Well, not every tonneau is the same. From the outside, this just isn't your ordinary tonneau cover, it comes with so much more user features. And I'm gonna show you just how that is. You got a PASI lock on the driver and passenger side, and it's spring loaded and disengageable the tailgate. And you got a unique clamping system that excels with down force pressure, and you won't ever have an issue with this clamp coming loose because the rail is the other half of the clamp when you mount it. So you get an extremely sturdy mounting surface for that roll up tonneau cover. And it comes with a heavy duty anodized coating. So that's like the toughest coating you can get for aluminum, and it's placed in the most appropriate spots to help repel against wear different things like that. But as you roll it forward you can see, you know, we've got some premium molded slide in hook fasteners. So you're gonna have high performance hook and loop. And then for the cover, you know, the rail is replaceable. Well, the cover, what about the cover Well, the cover has a high end woven loop that is extremely durable, and if that wears out you can replace it as well. Simply replace the loop fastener and refreshing it with a new fastener, and you have a long lasting performance. And that's all comes included with the Fas-Top Pro roll up tonneau cover. So you have that and then you have a cargo management track. So off the lot, you know, if you we inchesre to get a truck that had a cargo management track, that would have a $200 value on its own, whereas these tracks are built into the cover. So you're getting a high quality cover with these tracks built in. So you're not having to go, you know, and add these tracks. They're built into this rail. So that's a huge value to the customer. So as you roll it forward, you got bose that span the width of the bed. A disengaging tarp stop that's low profile, so it has a really clean and low profile look on the exterior of the cover. And you simply pop it into place and your cover's secured for traveling in the open position. The Fas-Top lineup of products is gonna be available for most covers that are out there. So there's a huge range of part numbers that are available. Just go to the website and check it out and see if your partner is available. Heck yeah. And if you wanna make it a little bit easier, what I'd recommend doing is just using our fit guide we have on our website, your year, make and model, your bed length, and this will actually help you find the exact one for your vehicle. Now one thing I was noticing with this is how compact it gets at the very back end of our bed. I know everyone is probably wondering, "What if I need to save maybe just a couple more inches in my bed for something extra large, or maybe I have something with a hard edge and I don't wanna damage this." Something like a four wheeler Yeah, yeah. What if I need to take it out Great question. So you can have this stowed below the tonneau cover year round. So most cases you can have it under the cover, but for those rare cases where, you know, I gotta take it out, you can quickly take it out with the removal of the topper sling, the front cam strap anchor points, and the front window, and these two topper pivots. You can quickly remove this collapsing trunk topper out of the bed. So what's nice about the collapsing truck topper, just imagine, you know, I got a heavy, bulky fiberglass topper or aluminum topper, and I'm lifting this on my own. And you can see it's low profile, lightweight. I can store this in the garage, I can break it down even further. But yeah, it's just an easy to remove or install topper. Oh, that's awesome. Yeah, I can easily imagine that being stored in someone's garage for the time being, and really anyone seems like they could remove it. You don't have to be a strong guy picking it up.
