Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today I'm gonna take a look at the 12 and a quarter inch by three and a half inch brake shoes for one wheel on a Hayes 9,000 pound to 12,000 pound electric brake axles. Now these are replacement shoes that'll work on the 12 and a quarter inch by three and a half inch Hayes Alco Electric Trailer Breaks. This part will include the two shoes and the mounting hardware for installation and when we say the size of 12 and a quarter by three and a half inches, what that measurement is, is when these shoes are attached to the backing plate on the assembly. If you measured the diameter of the shoes from this to this end, it's gonna get you the 12 and a quarter inch measurement and then the three and a half inch measurement is the width of the pad that's on the shoes. There, as you can see, is the three and a half inch measurement.
Now the configuration for these shoes, they can be used on either the driver's side or the passenger side. The axle rating, again, that these will fit on is 9,000 pound to 12,000 pound axles. But that should do it for the review on the 12 and a quarter inch by three and a half inch brake shoes for one wheel on a Hayes 9,000 pound to 12,000 pound electric brake axle.
