Built to handle real road miles, the Westlake ST205/75R14 radial tire delivers 2,040 lbs max load at 65 psi and runs cool and steady up to 75 mph (speed rating L). The 8-ply construction with double steel belts, double polyester plies, and nylon tread overlays helps prevent tread separation and gives long tread life for confident towing on long trips.

Where most aluminum wheels can wear around the lugs, this one solves that with pressed-in steel inserts. They keep the wheel holes from wearing down and help eliminate the need to constantly retorque lug nuts. The wheel itself is 14" x 5" with a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern, rated for 2,200 lbs, so it’s built to stay secure under load.

Corrosion doesn’t stand a chance here. The gunmetal gray finish of the Eagle Series wheel is coated with an automotive-grade clear coat that keeps it looking sharp while resisting scuffs and oxidation. Lightweight aluminum construction makes it rustproof and easy to handle, while the 5-spoke design gives it a clean, modern look that upgrades any trailer’s stance.
This combo includes complimentary roadside assistance for 2 years—24/7 coverage anywhere in the United States, Canada, or Puerto Rico if you get a flat. The tire also carries a 1-Year No Excuses Guarantee for free replacement if it’s damaged in the first year, plus you’ll be reimbursed a flat labor rate for mounting the replacement. It’s backed further by a 5-Year tire warranty and a 1-Year wheel warranty for lasting confidence down the road.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're take a look at this Westlake ST 205 75R 14 radial trailer tire in a load range D out on this 14 inch gun metal gray eagle aluminum wheel with the five on four and a half inch bolt pattern. Now this tire and wheel assembly is ideal for RVs, campers, and trailers. The wheel we mentioned it is an aluminum wheel. It's very durable, lightweight, and rustproof. And it is an Eagle Series, which you can see is a split five spoke design in a gun metal gray finish.
And if you look on the edge of the spokes, has a nice machine face on those to give it a nice shine. They do use an automotive grade clear coat finish on the front to help protect the wheel from scuffs and scratches. The nice feature I like on this wheel is the steel lug, the steel inserts here and the lug nut wells. These are designed to help keep your wheels securely in place on the trailer hub. So basically what happens is when you install this onto the hub, your studs come through there, you put your lug nuts on there and torque 'em down.
And what those inserts do is it prevents those holes from wearing down or elongating, eliminates the need for constant retightening of your lug nuts. Now the wheel, the diameter on the wheel is 14 inches. The width on just the wheel is five inches wide. Bolt pattern on this wheel is a five on four and a half inch bolt pattern. And if you wanna measure the bolt pattern on a wheel, that's an odd number of lugs.
Like in this one, it's a five lug, so they don't line up right across from each other. So when you go to measure, what you have to do is pick any hole, let's say this one, and then you're gonna measure from this hole either to this one or this hole. But when you measure it from the center of the starting hole to the furthest edge of whichever hole you measure to. So on this one it'll measure four and a half inches. So that means it's a five on four and a half inch bolt pattern.
The wheel lug size this uses is a half inch by 20, weight capacity on just the wheel is 2,200 pounds. If you notice, this does not come with the center cap. If you do want the center cap, we do sell those separately. What you wanna do is make sure to get a center cap that has the same diameter as this pilot hole right here. 'cause when you install your center cap, it will go through this hole. The diameter on this is 3.19 inches. Now the tire that's on this is a Westlake radial tire, so it's constructed with double steel belts, double polyester ply. They also use a nylon tread firming belt overlay to help prevent tread separation. And this is a radial ply tire, so it is great for highway use. This is also an ST tire, which stands for Special Trailer tire. It has this sturdy sidewall so they can handle heavy loads. It is created specifically for trailers. It's not intended for use on other vehicles. Now the tire size, which you can get off the sidewall, it's stamped on the sidewall, ST for special trailer 205 75R 14, R means it's a radial, section width eight inches. Overall diameter bottom to the top when it's inflated, it's 26.1. This tire is a load range D, which means it's an eight ply rated tire. So it has a maximum load capacity of 2040 pounds at 65 PSI. And this assembly does meet the DOT, Department of Transportation specifications. Also, I do wanna mention that they do offer a speed rating on the tire and it's stamped on the sidewall, but it is stamped with a letter designation. And where that's at is right after the tire size we just went over. You'll see two numbers for the load index and then you'll see the letter L. Letter L will mean that it's a 75 mile per hour speed rating. Now they do offer complimentary roadside assistance for two years and flat tire services available 24/7, anywhere in the US, Canada, or Puerto Rico. But that should do it for the review on the Westlake ST 205 75R 14 radial trailer tire in a load range D mounted on a 14 inch gunmetal gray Eagle aluminum wheel.

Best RV tires Ive owned. Put little over 13000 miles on them this year. Went from the west coast to the east coast. Not one flat tire. No abnormal tire wear. They still have good tread. Ready for another road trip. And always air them to 5psi less than stated on side of tire.

Since installing them on my 30 travel trailer, we have traveled from Texas to the west coast and to the east. Put 14000 miles on these tires and they still are good for another long trip. Remember, correct air pressure and straight axles. Would purchase these again for sure. Highly recommend these whells and tires!!!!
