Features to know about

Built for Heavy Loads and Long Highway Runs: Load Range H with 75-mph Speed Rating

When you’re logging serious miles with a full load, this tire-and-wheel assembly keeps you steady. The 215/75R17.5 radial tire carries up to 4,806 lbs at 125 psi with a 16-ply rating, backed by a solid-center steel wheel rated for 6,005 lbs. All parts meet DOT specifications and are speed rated L (75 mph), so you can roll confidently on long hauls and hot asphalt without worrying about heat or stress buildup.

Corrosion Resistance That Lasts: Zinc Phosphate Bath, E-Coat Primer, and Powder Coat Finish

Saltwater spray or wet roads don’t stand a chance against the finish on this wheel. It goes through a 3-step corrosion-resistant process—first a zinc phosphate bath for adhesion, then an acrylic e-coat primer, and finally gray DuPont powder coating baked on both sides. The result is a smooth finish that looks clean and stays protected season after season.

Strength Where It Counts: Solid Center Steel Wheel with Hub-Piloted Design

This heavy-duty steel wheel is built to handle real work. The solid center design adds rigidity for dependable towing under weight. Its hub-piloted configuration centers on the hub instead of the lugs for precise alignment and even load distribution. It uses flange nuts (sold separately) and features an 8 on 6-1/2 bolt pattern with a +0.19" offset and a 4.76" pilot diameter, giving it a rock-solid connection every time.

Smooth Traction and Even Wear: All-Steel Radial Construction

The radial build uses all-steel belts and premium rubber compounds for tough durability and extended tread life. Wide shoulders help spread the load evenly across the tread, promoting uniform wear while keeping traction strong in both wet and dry conditions. That combination delivers a smooth, steady ride mile after mile.

Determining Bolt Pattern

1. Count the lug holes

Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).

Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug

2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.

Center to Center
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"

2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).

Center to Outside Edge
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Video Transcript for Review of Triangle Trailer Tires and Wheels - Tire with Wheel - TR62ZR

Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Triangle 215/75R17.5 Radial Tire in a Load Range H, mounted on the 17 1/2 inch Gray Solid Center Steel Trailer Wheel with an offset and an 8 on 6 1/2 inch bolt pattern. Now, this tire and wheel assembly is designed for use on heavy-duty trailers. The wheel is a heavy-duty wheel, it's sturdy steel construction. And as you can see, it is a nice solid center design wheel, has excellent corrosion resistance. And you can see, it's a gray powder coat finish over an e-coat primer on the front and even on the back of the wheel.

Now, this wheel is a hub-piloted wheel. Has a pilot hole diameter right here of 4.76 inches, and it'll center exactly on the hub of your trailer. So what you're gonna do is when you go to install this, you'll slide this up onto the hub, and it'll fit the hole exactly. The studs will come through the holes here. And what you'll end up doing, 'cause these bolt holes, you'll notice there's no bevel to them or a chamfer, and the reason that is, is 'cause it's centering on the hub.

So basically, you just put your lugs in. It does require the use of 5/8 inch by 18 size flange nuts for installation. We do sell those separately on our website. Now, this wheel also uses a positive offset. And that means that the wheel will move toward the trailer frame.

And the way it does that is this mounting surface of the wheel. It fits right at the center line of the wheel, that's a zero starting point. And depending which way it moves depends on the offset. So positive offset is gonna mean that the wheel's gonna move to the front of the wheel. Here's your front of the wheel.

So if this mounting center right here is moved, it's gonna be moved 0.19 inches this way, positive, which in turn means that it'll move the wheel and tire back towards the trailer frame. Now, the wheel dimension is 17 1/2 inches, that's the diameter. The width, 6 3/4 inches. We mentioned the bolt pattern on this is an 8 on 6 1/2 inch bolt pattern. And if you wanna measure that on a wheel that's an even number of lugs, like in this case, eight, it's pretty simple, because the lug holes you can see are directly across from each other. So just pick any hole, let's say this one. Measure from the center of this hole to the center of the hole right across from it. So that'll get you a measurement of 6 1/2 inches, so it's an 8 on 6 1/2 inch bolt pattern. The wheel itself has a weight capacity of 6,005 pounds. Now, this tire that's mounted on it is a premium, multi-use steer or all-position radial tire. It is constructed with all steel belts to enhance your durability and extend the tread life. Also, if we turn it this way, you'll notice the wide shoulders here promote even wear and better traction, and it offers an enhanced casing package that'll help improve toughness and readtreadability. The tire size, which will be stamped on the sidewall. If we go right here, you'll see 215/75R17.5. The R means that it is a radial tire. Section width, 8.3 inches. Overall diameter from the bottom to the top when it's inflated is 30.2 inches. And this tire is a Load Range H, which means it's a 16-ply rated tire. Has a maximum load capacity of 4,805 pounds at 125 psi. And this tire does have a speed rating, and they stamp it on the sidewall with a letter designation. And where you'll find that is right after the tire size we just went over. There's two numbers for the load index, and then there's the letter L. Speed rating L will mean that it's a 75 mile per hour speed rated tire. But that should do it for the look at this Triangle 215/75R17.5 Radial Tire in a Load Range H, mounted on this 17 1/2 inch Gray Solid Center steel Trailer Wheel with an offset and an 8 on 6 1/2 inch bolt pattern.

Tire/rim came as advertised. Was quick shipment. It did have a few chips on the rim edge, going to assume it was due to shipping company. Seems to be a very heavy duty tire. We will see how well it wears. Overall super satisfied for the price and delivered to my door. A++
