Hi everyone, Steve here with Etrailer. Today we're taking a look at this Kenda Carrier, KR 53 ST 205/75 R 14 radial tire. Folks, this does come with a nice, beautiful black AM09 wheel. Now this does give you a tire and wheel ready combo here with your purchase, and this features the standard five on four and a half inch bolt pattern. Make sure you're double checking that with yours to be sure you're matching up. The pilot hole here is 3.19 inches.
So if you're looking for a center cap insert, those are sold separately as well. Now this is a reliable all season traction tire. The KR 53 tread is gonna channel water out giving you confidence on wet roads as well. And if you don't know radial tires, they do run cooler and they're gonna reduce heat buildup and promote even wear across the tread face. And the side walls are even reinforced as well.
So this is a nice aluminum wheel. It is a machine aluminum wheel and it does have that nice black coat on there and a nice clear coat on top of that as well. So you have double protection, very good looking, very long lasting. If you're looking for a replacement, this is a max load capacity of 2200 pounds and it is a load range D or an eight ply tire. My tires mounted on rims arrived as indicated on time packed individually in their own box so no damage could happen during shipping. Not like some tires I bought were they just come strapped on top of each other with no box at all. Overall, the rims and tires are exactly what I thought they would be as advertised by E trailer. Like the black on silver rim can’t wait to put them on my boat trailer and see how they look. I went with the D rated instead of a C rating this time so I can load the boat a little heavier with gear. I love the look at the tires. It looks dirty strong at 70 pounds. There’s only one thing that I did not care for on rims. The inset where the lug nuts go Is deeper than I would like it to be. Although I’m using custom longer acorn lug nuts only about half of the lug nuts are exposed to put a socket onto to remove or tighten. We’ll see how that goes but overall great experience with E trailer would purchase tires and rims from them again. Great service good products.
Wheels & Tires arrived BEFORE the estimated delivery date. I didn't have an opportunity to mount them until several days after they got here, but I had to open the boxes to see what they looked like. Very impressed with the wheels and the tires were just as I expected. Mounted them yesterday, regret that I didn't go ahead and order lug nuts since I had to go to 3 stores to find chrome ones. Mounting was easy, they look great on the pontoon boat trailer. I'm positive that they will improve the pullability of the trailer. I went from 13's to 14's and the larger size fits really well and makes the trailer look better. The overall price/value speed of delivery was outstanding. I would give 6 stars if they would have taken the old wheels off and put the ones on. LOL

Love em. Better tires than what the RV manufacturer provided and way better looking wheels. They did great on a 4 hour drive with my 4k lb camper. Only minor issue is my 4-way lug wrench didn’t fit in so I had to use a deep well with breaker bar.

Very nice wheel and tire combo and as always excellent customer service and fast shipping. My only complaint is that I wish a little common sense was used in placement of the large industrial grade adhesive sticker they put on the the front face of the tire. It could have easily been put on the back side of the tire and no issue.
Fit and finish were great. I had to replace my wheel studs though to fit these thicker aluminum wheels vs my prior steel wheels. I wish the description would have made that more clear in terms of the required exposed thread length, but it was an easy job to do.
The gloss black finish with red pinstripes really pops against the faded satin black paint and red lettering on my Better Built tilt car hauler. Delivery was quick and all four tires had the same date code from 2025. I read another review where the author lamented trying to peel the stickers off the tire sidewalls. I found taking a heat gun set on low helpful for removing them and leaving no residue. Before installing the wheels I will be going through the suspension and ordering and upgrade kit.
Really happy with this replacement tire for my 2016 Tracker Pro Guide V16 trailer. I ended up blowing one of the tires and had to replace it anyway. When I saw these I figured I could get away from the pitted Chrome rims that it came with and have it match my 21 Tacoma TRD Pro. They look awesome. Little pricey but you get what you pay for.
