A rough road can rattle your whole setup, but this TruRyde equalizer keeps things smooth. At 6-3/4" long with 9/16" bolt holes, it connects your 1-3/4" wide double-eye springs and transfers impact evenly between the axles. That movement helps absorb bumps and distributes weight so your trailer tracks steady and your load stays level, even over uneven ground.
Whether you’re running a tandem or triple axle setup, this equalizer handles the job. It’s mounted from a center hanger and allows enough travel between axles to keep your suspension moving freely. When installed with properly torqued shackle bolts, it pivots smoothly without binding, maintaining consistent ride quality and suspension response mile after mile.
Getting the geometry correct matters for proper suspension action. This equalizer is built to spec with 9/16" holes at all three positions, 2-7/8" and 3-7/8" side distances from the center, and a 2" height from the shackle bolt hole to the hanger bolt hole. Those exact dimensions make it a clean fit when replacing worn or damaged parts and help keep axle alignment spot-on.
This equalizer comes set up for standard nylon bushings like #TRBU11566, but it’s also compatible with long-life options such as Never Fail bushings found in the #LC281288 upgrade kit. Swapping them in gives you a more durable, maintenance-free connection that won’t wear out, creak, or need constant replacement down the line.
