Sheila, the Romik REC-TP Running Boards w/ Custom Install Kit 5-1/2" Wide # RMK92WR for your 24 f350 crew cab don’t have built-in lighting, but we can help you add it or find a different setup that does have lights.

A lot of customers pair these with an aftermarket LED strip kit like # UCL90CB that ties into the dome light circuit or door pin switch. That way your steps light up when the door opens, same effect, just DIY.

If you want a setup that already has lights built-in, you can go with the very nice Aries ActionTrac Motorized Running Boards # AA3048321.

What option do you think you'll want to go with?

If I go the DIY route with the LED strip, is there a clean way to run the wiring without it looking messy or being exposed underneath? I want it to look as factory as possible.

@Sheila Great follow-up, Sheila, and I hear you. A clean install makes all the difference, especially on a nice truck like your '24 F-350. Most folks run the LED strip along the underside of the step or just behind it, using the channel or edge of the board for concealment. You can tuck the wiring up into the pinch weld seam or use split loom and adhesive clips along the frame rail to keep things secure and protected from road debris. Zip ties help route things neatly without drilling. For power, tapping into the dome light or courtesy light circuit at the kick panel keeps everything hidden inside the cab. Just run the wire through a grommet or the door jamb boot if you want to keep it stealthy. If you're comfortable with basic 12V wiring, it can look impressively clean. Let me know if you’d like a quick install diagram or specific routing tips, I’d be happy to walk you through it.
