6-7/16" Waterproof light displays brake, tail, and turn signals on your trailer. Mounts in a cutout with a grommet (sold separately) and works with 3-prong plugs.
Features:
Specs:
This light has a standard 3-prong plug that connects to your vehicle or trailer with a PL-3 pigtail adapter. Pick up the right-angle pigtail (A47PB - sold separately) or the straight pigtail (A45PB - sold separately) if you don't have one already.
This light installs in a grommet (A70GB - sold separately) and requires cutting a hole into your trailer if it doesn't have one already.
If you'd rather not cut a hole in your trailer, you can use an optional mounting bracket (BK70BB - sold separately) instead. You will still need the A70GB grommet.

What's up, everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be checking out this tail light from Optronics. It's gonna have a clear cover on it with red LEDs underneath. Let's check it out. Today, we're gonna be installing on this Big Tex flatbed trailer. So this, taking a closer look at our tail light, it's gonna have 10 diodes on it.
You got the clear case, you can see the lens itself is clear and the LEDs underneath are gonna be red. So this is gonna go right here onto our trailer and plugs in with the three prong attachment. It's the industry standard. So it just plugs right back into place where we took out our old one. Now, it also can be submerged in water, so you don't have to worry about that if you're putting it on a boat trailer.
And it's DOT compliant. So once we push this in, then I can push it into the grommet. I'm not gonna push it in all the way just because we have to take it right back out after the video's done, but wanted to show you what it looked like. Let's run through the three functions of the light. Right now, it's on brake lights.
You can also do a turn signal. They also do tail lights. Looking at 'em side by side, you can see the new one's gonna be quite a bit brighter. It's gonna be helpful because it has those extra diodes in there where this one only has six. And the clear front is gonna let more of that light shine through.
The light's gonna measure six and 7/16 long and two and 5/16 wide. So make sure you measure your lights on your trailer to make sure these are gonna fit. Overall, I think these lights are gonna be an upgrade for your trailer. You can see from the LEDs that we're on here to the new LEDs we put on, quite a bit brighter. It's gonna stand out that way. Now, if you're upgrading from incandescent to LED, that's gonna be an even bigger jump 'cause incandescents aren't gonna be as bright, they're gonna burn out quicker, and they're gonna get warm. So the LEDs aren't gonna do any of those things. They're gonna last way longer on your trailer, so you don't have to replace 'em for a long time. Well, I think that does it. Thanks for hanging out and hope this helped.
