The motor on the rear stabilizer jack somehow got stripped gears for retracting so I was found the gears are not replaceable which required an entire motor with new gearing. I ordered the motor at a price of $280.00 and when it arrived I opened the package to discover the entire part including the cord was looking like it came from a dust and grime bin. This had me wondering if the motor was actually new and should I install it anyway. I called etrailer and they declared no reconditioned parts or used parts are sold by them. I went ahead and installed it after cleaning it and it does work. I hope it continues to perform as a new one. Etrailer representatives are very courteous and helpful and I will be ordering items in the future when the need exists. Also, thank you for the expedited shipping. Warren

Have to get different bolts than factory. But it’s installed and works so it’s good

by:

Product fit perfect and performs the same couldn't use our rear jacks on our fifth wheel without it.
Thanks etrailer

After breaking my old one off my Rockwood Mini Lite 2304KS backing it in to my driveway, this new one is the exact one from Lippert however does not come with hardware. I called Lippert and they wanted nearly $100 more than etrailer. Works perfect, always happy with etrailer customer service!

Its been a year and the replacement motor assembly is still working as new, the best place to purchase these items is at Etrailer.

by:

The motor was to be an exact replacement, however, this was not the case. First the mounting screw holes are not the same diameter as the OEM part. The OEM is #10 x 32 hardware. This replacement is somewhere around 5.5 mm. I had to drill out the mounting holes and provide new #10x32 socket head SS cap screws and washers and nuts. The electrical hook up was straight forward and the motor worked as expected.

by:

Well, my husband took the old motor off to get the part #. He forgot to label the wires! (Duh!) So after waiting for the new one to arrive, he had to futz around to figure out which wire was which! But, even so he had the new one installed in less than 30 minutes. He was very happy about that part. And, of course, it worked without any problems. Two thumbs up.

by:

Product arrived on time and worked as expected. The unit looked like a refurbished unit since it was not in any packaging, but worked none-the-less. I think the motor was wired backwards because “retract” actually extends the jack and “extend” retracts. This is a little annoying, but not the end of the world.

by:

This is the 3rd time I've taken out the jack motor on my travel travel. Fortunately, I'm trading it in for a motorhome and won't have to do this anymore. However, anytime I've needed a part from etrailer, they were on the ball! Quick delivery. They answer the phone! (Who does that anymore?) They have great follow-up. While the prices are higher than ever, which is really aggravating, I'll still order from etrailer because of their reliability.

by:

Didn't notice any difference in speed. Also, motor seems to be struggling lately with lowering/raising the stabilizer jacks. Still works fine though.

by:

Much quieter than the original jack motor, easy install and it WORKS!

Just as happy with it now as when I installed it. The motor is still quieter than the OEM part it replaced.

by:

Product was received in a reasonable time. Easy to install. Hope this replacement motor last longer than the original did, which was only 2 years. Price to me seems a bit steep for the size of this motor. But was able to save a small amount through etrailer compared to other websights.

by:

I received the motor very soon after placing my order. It bolted up and worked fine except the polarity was backward on the motor. Just reversed the wires and it was good to go.

by:

I did not use this item. I ordered it before fully inspecting my old motor. The Old motor had a cut wire which I was able to repair. I give this 5 stars because of the quality of service of this company. Quick delivery and a good return service. I use etrailer for all my RV items.

by:

so far so good! all products ordered and received in timely fashion,
Had to replace parts in a new trailer ,due to wonderful Hurrican Harvey
ALL parts working without problems!

Thanks
will see you again, if we need more.

by:

After matching this unit with the one on my trailer, same par number and specs... And used it 3x till I finally replaced it with another one of the same specifications, the first one ( this one) could not hold up to the usage , I kinda knew it when it would stop once landed and craps out for seconds.

by:

Fast shipping and product fit was perfe ct.

by:

LOVE this company!! I needed these parts before Monday, ordered on thursdays with a 24 hour delay on shipment, order shipped same day and arrived a day early, ON A SATURDAY!!! Can’t speak highly enough about etrailer!!!

by:

Received one motor looks like it was used called and told them about my concern and they was real nice and sent me another one received it in 2 days worked perfect fine people will look forward to doing business with them again in the future Good price fine people

by:

Product was delivered timely and in new condition. I paid a little extra to be sure UPS delivered to my door instead of USPS. USPS has not been as reliable as the private services where I live.

by:

This is just like the motor that came off the trailer. It went on as easy as the old one came off. Had it on in about 15 minutes.

by:

Still working fine. Not sure if it was the newest version available.
Thanks

Very well. The jack leg is more sturdy than what it replaced.

by:

Seems to be working well after I installed. Some of the original hardware didn’t work for the new motor, but I adapted. The product came fast and was $100 less than rv dealer’s price. Thank you!

by:

Went together easily and works great

My stabilizer motor is still going strong after using it for a year

by:

The part worked better than the factory installed part and was very easy to install.

by:

It bolted right into place connected two wires and it was back to working. it took a little while to get but other than that it was great.

  • Troubleshooting Lippert Electric Stabilizer Jacks Not Lowering
The collar being loose on your stabilizer jack may be the issue as that is part of the motor assembly. The motor directly connects to the threaded rod so with that being loose it may have broken off and disconnected from the threaded rod. I recommend removing the motor, and checking it for correct function. If the motor collar or shaft has broken and needs replacing, you can use the Replacement Electric RV Stabilizer Jack Motor for Lippert Components Landing Gear - Rear # LC352338. ...

In regards to the Lippert High-Speed Power Stabilizer Jacks, the motor and gearbox are integrated so you'd have to replace both if one or the other goes bad. • What to Check When a Rear Stabilizer Jack Is Malfunctioning
It is definitely odd that your jack is only doing this some of the time. Before getting too far into it, I highly suggest checking all the grounds as if one went bad, it can cause any number of weird things to happen. If your grounds all look good, you will need to check the screw that turns and makes the legs rise and lower. If this is getting bound up on something, it could be the issue. I would check to make sure there isn't anything stuck anywhere and clean it if there is. I also suggest...

  • Troubleshooting Lippert Powered Stabilizer that Stopped Working with Switch
The switch should allow power to go through it when the switch is in the "on" position but if it's off and power is going through it that would not be a good sign. But I believe you are asking about it while in the on position. It's probably a motor since you are able to crank the jacks manually and the switch seems good. You could bypass the breaker and if that allows it to work that would tell you if that's the issue. The replacement would be the # LC134181. If it's the motor then you...

The Lippert Components High-Speed Power Stabilizer Jack - Black Waterproof Switch Kit - 30" Lift # LC298707 that is extended can use a hand crank to manually retract the stabilizing legs. You can use the Replacement Manual Crank Handle for Lippert Components 5th Wheel RV Landing Gear # LC119226 to do this. It sounds like you have a power issue, so I recommend using a circuit tester like # PTW2993. If you have checked the motor and the switch, then it sounds like the motor has gone bad...

  • Troubleshooting a Lippert PSX Stabilizer That Extends But Does Not Retract
Since you've already replaced the switch on your Lippert High-Speed Power Stabilizer Jack # LC298707 we can be pretty certain that's not the issue. There is a couple of other things you can check first before moving forward, starting with your motor. • Can I Bypass Lippert Stabilizer Jack Switch To Test Switch Functionality
To bypass the switch that came with the Lippert High-Speed Power Stabilizer Jack # LC298707 you can definitely grab the 12V power wire (red wire on switch) from your battery and apply it directly to the yellow "retract" wire to see if the motors operate just fine. You can also verify that the jacks themselves work just fine without power by using the manual crank # LC119226 if applying power to the "retract" function doesn't do anything. • Troubleshooting Lippert Power Stabilizer Jack That Will Extend But Not Retract
It sounds like you have a bad Switch # LC387874 on your Lippert High-Speed Power Stabilizer Jack # LC298707. The part number you have 337199 does not come from Lippert with a power switch so you may have a different switch used. To verify if the problem is the switch you can simply switch the wiring around on the switch or jumper the power and ground wires to see if the jack will then retract. If the jack will still not retract there is something damaged inside the Motor # LC352338.

The clicking you are hearing sounds like a circuit breaker being stripped and auto resetting. This indicates there is either a wiring issue or the motor is drawing more power than it should.
