Question:
I believe my switch for Lippert stabilizer jack is bad. The jack went down but will not retract. It had gotten iffy in both directions over past couple of months but worked in both directions. Is there a way to splice the wires perhaps the red to the yellow to reverse the jack to bypass the switch and verify it is probably a bad switch?

To bypass the switch that came with the Lippert High-Speed Power Stabilizer Jack # LC298707 you can definitely grab the 12V power wire (red wire on switch) from your battery and apply it directly to the yellow "retract" wire to see if the motors operate just fine. You can also verify that the jacks themselves work just fine without power by using the manual crank # LC119226 if applying power to the "retract" function doesn't do anything.
If you find that the switch is the problem then you can replace it with part # LC387874. If applying power directly to the motors doesn't cut it then the correct replacement motor is part # LC352338.
