Disc brakes only work if your actuator delivers pressure fast, and this one does. It hits 1000 psi in under a second, so your trailer responds when you hit the pedal, not a second later. That makes a real difference when you're slowing down on a hill, backing down a ramp, or rolling through traffic with a fully loaded trailer. If you've ever had to lean on your brakes and felt the trailer lag behind, you know how sketchy that can get. This kit stops that from happening.
You don't want to build a braking system from scratch and just hope that all the parts match. This kit gives you the actuator, sealed harness, battery, switch, and junction box, all built to work together. It takes one of the hardest parts of a disc brake upgrade and makes it straightforward.
The harness comes pre-wired with a standard 7-way trailer connector on one end and a sealed 5-pin plug that clips directly into the actuator. You don't have to cut anything or figure out which wire goes where. Just connect it to your controller and power circuit and finish the install. Now your trailer brakes respond the instant you hit the pedal, like your trailer and truck are finally working together.
If your brake controller is designed for electric-over-hydraulic systems, this actuator will connect without adapters or extra modules. That includes most factory brake controllers in newer trucks and the aftermarket models commonly used in disc brake conversions. Once it's wired to power and your controller, the system is ready to run.
Mount actuator at least 12" above ground and away from submersion zones. Do not pressure wash or fully immerse. Compatible with all EOH-certified brake controllers.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Hydrapro Alpha G1600 electric over hydraulic actuator, wiring harness, and breakaway battery switch. Now, this kit has been designed for a single, tandem, or triple-axle marine and utility trailers with disc brakes. And this has a maximum output pressure of 1,600 PSI. So this comprehensive plug and play braking system is going to come with all the components that you see here on my table before me for immediate installation and superior stopping power.
So this includes the 1,600 PSI electric over hydraulic brake actuator. You're gonna be able to experience superior control with this high pressure actuator. It's tailored for optimal braking performance. And so this actuator has a built-in compatibility adapter, so no external compatibility device is necessary. It does feature a high-powered DC motor and a quality pump with minimal moving parts.
Its weatherproof anodized alloy case is going to protect the components from the external elements such as salt water, extreme temperatures, and poor road conditions. Has an independently seal fluid tank. And the hydraulic port size is 3/16 of an inch inverted flare, which is the standard brake line fitting. And I did wanna point out that the quality assurance bench testing may result in fluid residue in the reservoir. You might be able to see it glistening a little bit on the inside of that cap there.
So you might have a little trace of braking fluid in the reservoir there. So that's just a sign that this has actually been tested from the factory. So that's a good thing. And so the overall measurements here, this is about 10 inches long and about six inches tall, and then about 3-5/8 inches wide overall. And then this also comes with this 10-1/2 foot long plug and go wiring harness with seven-pin connector and five-pin flat plug.
And this is going to ensure a reliable connection for both your trailer brakes and lights without the need for complex hard wiring. And then you're also going to get this 10 amp hour breakaway battery and switch. This enhances the safety with a dependable power reserve. That's going to ensure functionality even in emergencies. So again, everything that you see here on my table before me. It's gonna be a pretty simple installation on your trailer. Again, the idea here is plug and play. Obviously, you can test the battery here as well. You probably know that already though. So battery box with the battery is included with this. This does require electric over hydraulic compatible factory or aftermarket trailer brake controller. That is sold separately from this kit.
