Today we're going to be taking a look at the CE Smith Single Axle Trailer fender for 14-inch-diameter wheels. This curved fender is going to cover one tire on your single-axle trailer. It's going to act as a splash guard, so it's really going to do a great job at keeping road debris from hitting other vehicles, and it's going to help protect your trailer's cargo. It's made from a sturdy, 16-gauge steel construction. This can be primed and then painted, to provide rust and corrosion resistance to the fender, as well as allowing it to match your trailer's paint finish. This can be welded or bolted onto your application.
It's not pre-drilled. A mounting bracket for a bolt-on installation is sold separately. We have some options here at Etrailer.com that you can check out. The product is made right here in the U.S.A. I just want to take some time to go over some basic measurements. We're going to take a look at the overall width.
Measuring that first, that's going to measure right at 9 inches wide. We'll take a look at the overall height. You can see that that's going to measure about 13 inches tall. Then the overall length measuring from edge to edge, we're looking at a measurement of about 28-1/2 inches long.
