Today we're going to be taking a look at the CE Smith Single Axle Trailer fender for 14-inch-diameter wheels. This curved fender is going to cover one tire on your single-axle trailer. It's going to act as a splash guard, so it's really going to do a great job at keeping road debris from hitting other vehicles, and it's going to help protect your trailer's cargo. It's made from a sturdy, 16-gauge steel construction. This can be primed and then painted, to provide rust and corrosion resistance to the fender, as well as allowing it to match your trailer's paint finish. This can be welded or bolted onto your application.
It's not pre-drilled. A mounting bracket for a bolt-on installation is sold separately. We have some options here at Etrailer.com that you can check out. The product is made right here in the U.S.A. I just want to take some time to go over some basic measurements. We're going to take a look at the overall width.
Measuring that first, that's going to measure right at 9 inches wide. We'll take a look at the overall height. You can see that that's going to measure about 13 inches tall. Then the overall length measuring from edge to edge, we're looking at a measurement of about 28-1/2 inches long. That's going to do it for today's look at the CE Smith Single Axle Trailer Fender for 14-inch-diameter wheels.

haven’t installed yet am going to weld inner fender to keep snow and mud and rocks off side of trailer i am building. will have to post pictures when i have it done but at this point the wheel wells are what they claim to be and seem very solid
Very nice fenders. They are very sturdy, quality is excellent. I can’t wait to weld them onto my teardrop camper trailer. I’ve ordered quite a few things from etrailer and have also been extremely satisfied.

I ordered a couple trailer fenders almost a year and a half ago for a project I'm working on. The project had to be put on the back burner for a while. These were the perfect design for my application. I modified them to mount on my H-D trike to cover 17" slotted mags. (Sorry, no pic available. They're being painted atm.)
It fit great!! and it has been durable. I painted it solid Restoleum High Gloss Black with no prime to match the trailer. The paint has been on it for a year with no rust. We live on the Gulf Coast with high humidity. GOOD QUALITY.

Arrived as promised and in fine shape. I like that these are made of good, heavy sheet steel, and the rolled edge is completely smooth (no evidence of the shrinker-stretcher marks one sometimes finds on replacement sheet-metal pieces. Note: I didn't order these for use as as trailer fenders: I made wheel tubs/ fender liners out of them for a garage-project, euro-import street car. Working out well, and as planned. Quite happy. No pics yet...But Thanks!
We purchased these fenders to use them as inner "wheel-tubs" for a Pro-Street 1981 Short-Box Ford pickup with a narrowed rear-end. We will shorten the overall height by trimming each lower edge.
I am totally AMAZED at the quality of the fender's steel-stamping. It is absolutely
flawless.... with no distortion anywhere... what-so-ever.
As inner wheel-tubs.... these trailer fenders are 1/3rd the price of the manufacturers who make dedicated wheel-tubs ...and are seemingly of BETTER quality.
I would rate them 6-stars for both amazing price and amazing high quality.

Great product. Very sturdy. I have steps attached to both sides of the finders. When climbing in to the boat from shore I stand on the finders to climb aboard. Highly recommend.
Very nice replacement fenders. Well worth the price over repairing the old ones.
The material is strong and welded nicely.
I bought 2 and they fit perfectly on my boat trailer. They are good quality, not thin and flimsy. Didn't take long to weld them in place.
Installation was pretty easy. Looked real nice at first but these fenders were both brown with rust within 2 weeks. Just from sitting in my driveway... never submerged. Would not recommend.

Very impressed with the quality of these fenders. Beautifully made, consistently shaped, sturdy steel material. The finished surfaces are so nice, smooth and shiney that I am seriously considering finishing them with an automotive clear coat only.
Bought these to replace the tiny jeep style fenders that came on my new Carry-On 2,000 pound utility trailer with 20" tires on 12" wheels. These fenders gave me the look I wanted and allowed me to install 185/13 radial Towmax Vanguard 23" tires on 13" aluminum RTX wheels. This is a custom trailer build in progress.
