Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Dexter Grease Cap. Now, this is gonna be able to keep your trailer's wheel bearings protected. This is a 2.72" outer-diameter grease cap. It's built from 22-gauge zinc-plated steel, so it's gonna fight off rust and corrosion for long-lasting performance. The simple drive-in design means insulation is gonna be quick and secure, so no fuss required.
This is gonna be perfectly sized for your Dexter 12" x 2" hubs with an 8-bolt pattern. So this is going to keep out water, dirt, and road debris so your bearings stay in top shape. So you are going to get just this one cap. And the flange diameter, again, outer diameter is gonna be 2.72". The overall height is about 1.28".
And again, this is designed to fit those Dexter 12" x 2" 8-bolt hubs. It worked for our project. This does not list what they are made of but it appears to be chrome plated steel. The measurements listed were helpful in making a choice- we needed 1.953" but this was close enough to work. Glad I found this website. Not easy to find these and I am happy with our purchase!
