Today we're going to review part no. YR224-4. This is a Yates endcap for side guide rollers on your boat trailer. The endcap mounts to a side guide roller on your boat trailer to provide additional surface area to improve boat-to-roller contact. This part is constructed of a heavy duty rubber material. It is made in the USA.
This endcap will install on the same brackets that your side guide will mount it too. You will just attach each endgap to the shaft on the outside of the roller bracket and then secure the endcap in place with a cap nut or a pal nut. These endcaps will not only provide more surface area for better boat-to-trailer contact but they will also help to keep your boat from being scratched by shart racket edges. I'm gonna do a few dimensions on this endgap. The overall diameter is 2 1/2 inches.
The width will be 2 inches. This endcap will mount onto the side guide roller that uses 1/2-inch diameter shaft. And that should do it for part no. YR224-4.
