Most covers either block the toolbox or leave a gap that lets in weather. This one is made to sit right behind most 19"-21" wide over-the-rail toolboxes, sealing tight against them with a front header bar and Element weather seal. The cover sits just 1-1/2" above the bed for a clean look and doesn’t interfere with opening or closing your toolbox. You get full use of both the box and the bed without anything getting in the way.
Rain, snow, dust, and baking sun can take their toll on a soft cover. The double-coated, reinforced vinyl on this one is UV-blocking, keeps its shape, and stays flexible down to -40°F. The reinforced flap at the tailgate and contoured aluminum rails keep the edges sealed tight so your tools and cargo stay cleaner and drier through all kinds of weather.
When you drop the tailgate, the Deluxe AutoLatch II automatically locks on both sides to secure the cover. Add a tailgate lock and the bed is fully sealed off. To open it, just pull the single release cord and roll up the cover in seconds. It stores neatly behind the toolbox with premium straps and clips that keep it from rubbing or flapping while you drive.
Keeping a roll-up cover tight normally means tools and guesswork. Here, the easy-grip XT-Dial lets you fine-tune the tension by hand at the front of the bed. The Tight Bite clamps grab the integrated ridges in the rails for a solid hold, and the black powder-coated aluminum resists rust. The rails mount inside the bed, leaving room for stake-pocket accessories like racks or tie-downs.
The signature Access Slantback angles the cover toward the tailgate to reduce drag, helping improve gas mileage by up to 10 percent. The low, streamlined profile blends with the truck’s lines instead of bulging above them, so you get a tonneau that looks sharp and performs efficiently every day.

I've been looking for years for a cover to fit my bed with the toolbox and all I ever heard was they don't make them. I love this cover and thanks etrailer. I was a little confused with the instructions provide, so it was a combination between the video and instructions that helped me complete the task. I really recommend if your in the market for this kind of tonneau cover.
Descent cover. Easy install
Love the way this cover looks on my truck . I see why this setup is popular with 5th wheel truck owners. I can hide the hitch from some weather elements and cover up what’s stored in the bed. My next upgrade is a lockable tailgate latch. Only 1-recommendation to the manufacturer is maybe real photos in the instructions to help installation. Other that I’m very pleased and would recommend to everyone.
Cover has lived up to expectations. Easy to install. I integrated it with a 5th wheel tool box which conveniently allows separate access to either. Protects my hitch from the elements when I am not towing. Easily rolls up and down. When rolled up, it does not block my rear view when I hitch my 5th wheel. Stays securely fastens when closed. No water intrusion, even in a car wash. Every couple of months I apply a good coating of a quality vinyl UV protectant.
Perfect fit for my 2021 3500 Silverado (8-foot bed) with a cross-bed storage box. Rolls up snug when we have the 5th wheel hooked up. Stays taught when extended and covering the truck bed. After one year I'm very Pleased with this product.
Surprised by the early delivery! Installation instructions need some help, but the product is just what I wanted for our '20 F350 DRW.
The cover fits well over the truck bed and snug against the tool box. RAM 3500 with 8' bed.
happy with the results they all where not installed yet but measured the pieces and they and were all within tolerance went to Home Depot and bought some weather stripping as the tool box (huskie) WILL HAVE TO BE FARTHER out so you can open it full without hitting the rear window and still have a water tight seal
The measurements were a little off for the gap of the tailgate and I had to readjust after install of the side rails. Also there were some cuts after pieces were painted it looked like. Unsure if this was done to adjust a common part to make work for several different bed styles or what. Still needs a few adjustments on my part but overall am happy with it.
Directions could of been a little better as well but I was able to fumble through.
Installed on a 2013 F150 with 6-1/2' foot bed. I had already installed a toolbox across the bed rails and then decided to add an Access cover since I knew I could get this tool box compatible version. I had an Access cover on a previous truck and knew I wanted the same brand again.
Plan on buying additional bulb weather stripping as the cap between the tool box and the front of the bed is wide depending on tool box width. My gap was wider than what came with the installation kit. You have to put the toolbox exactly where it needs to meet the bed cover header.
Installation was easy for the cover as the struggle was getting the toolbox weather stripping installed. I put the bulb seal in the kit on the front of the toolbox and then added my larger bulb weather stripping onto the front of the truck bed so that both mated up once the toolbox was put back into place per the instructions. Any local parts store should carry the seal material.
I do like how you need to open the tailgate to operate the latching system. If you lock your tailgate, it cannot be accessed. My previous Access cover had a push button you could use to unlatch the cover with the tailgate closed. Not great if you want to keep other out of your truck bed.
We travel a lot with our RV and frequently keep stuff in the back of the truck. I wanted something to hide it all. This cover is excellent. It looks fantastic and is easy to use (roll/unroll). Installation was okay but two sets of hands or clamps make it a lot easier. The instructions are just okay but it all worked out. The cover was a smidge short so I had to double-up on the rubber seal at the tailgate. No biggie. Also, no need to have a separate cover for my 5th wheel hitch. Very happy!

Wow, this Tonneau roll up bed cover is absolutely great. I like the quality of all parts, ease of installation and finally the look! Installed on my 2016 Ford F250 Super Duty.
I like the design of the Tonneau cover and how it looks, the ease of installation and the follow up support of etrailer. The shipping was pretty fast but there was a portion on one of the side rails that should not have passed quality control at the manufacture. I contacted etrailer, sent in a few pictures of the damaged rail and within a few days got a replacement rail shipped to me. That’s why I like doing business with etrailer!
The tonneau fit really well and worked with my Silverado. However, customer service is one star at best. I sent pictures to a representative of my truck and toolbox and she said the tonneau I picked out for him would not work with my toolbox. She then recommended another tonneau that she said was made for my toolbox and truck (I pull a fifth wheel so that made things difficult.) I ordered the one she recommended but it didn’t work either. I emailed her and nothing but crickets. I got an email from a different representative asking how things went and I explained the whole mess and again, nothing but crickets. I had to really get creative to get it to work and now it does, but it’s tricky getting in the tool box. Disappointing to say the least. I’ve ordered from etrailer before and had good experiences. This time, 5 star product, one star customer service.
After a little over a year, this tonneau cover is still working great and is a perfect fit with my crossover toolbox.

All good after a year in Alabama weather. Roll Tide!! No issues from usage. Looks and works great. The only issues were when I received it. The header bar was 6" too long. No problem, they shipped the correct one at no charge and my brother scrapped the original one. Everyone's happy. The other issue is the cover was about 2" too short. The filler material that came with it (just in case you needed it) is not user friendly and doesn't seal properly...even with caulk. The bed still gets wet. Having said all that, I would definitely buy it again.
Very easy to install and works great. I would recommend this product and etrailer to my family and friends! I have not installed my tonneau cover as I'm waiting for my tool box to arrive.
This is an amazing Tonneau cover and works perfectly with our truck bed toolbox. We have had no complaints. It looks great and is very functional and easy to use.
Purchased my cover a year ago and have been happy with the durability and performance of this cover. Looks great and still works well on my Dodge 2500 long bed. Didn't know how well it would seal out the water with the tool box, but with calking it is pretty much weather tight.
Covers the 5th wheel hitch and aux tank. At first I thought the hitch would show but you can't tell it is there. Great product, great price, delivered in less than a week.
I ordered this for my 2016 Ram 3500 8' bed with a 19" crossover tool box. It doesn't work. The clamps for the "header" piece are located where there are cutouts in the lip metal so the clamps that hold the header on can only clamp to plastic. There is a statement in the "special toolbox instructions" that says the cover fits "most truck boxes"....well folks, this is one it doesn't fit. And since they say that they must be aware it doesn't fit some and they should tell you which one's it doesn't fit instead of having me fighting with it and now having to go through the process of packing this piece of garbage up in a box that is shattered. What a POS. Don't buy. NOT A HAPPY ETRAILER CUSTOMER!!!!!!!!!!

My cover has been all over the country from the coast of the redwoods of California to the deserts of southern Utah to the plains of Kansas for construction aiport projects my cover has protected my belongings, my truck, and myself!!! Hi Richard, Thank you for your feedback! With this product, you want to make sure that there is a half inch between the toolbox and the cab side of the truck bed. It is very unusual for there to be plastic sections of the bed rails, and that is not something you want to be mounting a tonneau cover to.
