Recommended Tonneau Cover That Works with a Toolbox on a 2017 Ram 3500 with 8 Bed

I have a 2017 Ram 3500 dually. 8ft bed. I have a Transfer flow auxiliary fuel tank/toolbox installed in the bed. The tank is above the bed. DO you think it would be possible to install the TruXedo TruXport Soft, Roll-Up Tonneau Cover Item # TX248901 in front of the auxiliary tank? I mostly want it to cover my fifth wheel hitch and some other items I have in the bed. Thanks!!

I do have a few options for you but since your toolbox sits above the bed rails, the TruXedo TruXport Soft, Roll-Up Tonneau Cover part # TX248901 will not work for you as is the case for almost all tonneau covers. However, if your toolbox is between 18" and 21" wide then we do have a tonneau cover compatible and for that I recommend the Access Toolbox Edition Soft, Roll-Up Tonneau Cover part # 834532001859. This cover is specifically designed for use with trucks that have a toolbox.
If your toolbox is not between 18" and 21" wide then I recommend just using a 5th wheel hitch cover like the Classic Accessories Cover part # CA80116. As long as your 5th wheel hitch does not exceed the 24" wide x 24" long x 18" tall dimensions of this cover it will work well for you. This cover is constructed of a heavy-duty vinyl which works to repel water and UV rays. It comes with a 3-year warranty.
