When the roads are covered in snow or slush, these Titan Chain ladder-pattern snow chains give you the traction you need to keep moving. The ladder design puts twist links across the tread so your tires grab hard when climbing steep or snow-packed roads. They’re especially good for deep snow, with enough bite to keep forward motion steady without spinning or sliding around.
Twist links made from low-carbon steel help balance grip and comfort. They’re strong enough to dig through snow and ice, yet the rounded twist shape gives a smoother ride than sharper square links. That makes a big difference when you’re driving through town or along stretches of mixed snow and pavement.
These chains go on easily without any cams or levers that might come loose while backing up or crossing rough terrain. The basic manual connection keeps things simple and dependable. You can tighten them by hand and use rubber adjusters (sold separately) for a snug fit that stays put through thick snow or muddy patches.

Each 5.5 mm (0.218") low-carbon steel link is built to take on repeated winter use. The metal resists wear from ice and packed snow, so you can trust the chains to handle harsh conditions. Dry them after each trip and they’ll keep performing strong through multiple winters.
Whether you’re tackling unplowed roads, heading up to a cabin, or pulling a trailer through slushy fields, these twist-link chains keep you moving. They’re rated for deep snow and mud, so you can count on solid traction when the weather turns tough. Each set includes two chains sized for 15" – 19" tires and comes backed by a 30-day limited warranty.
To determine whether you can use snow chains on your vehicle, or if they might affect your ABS/EPS functionality, consult your owner's manual.

Hey everyone, Charles here at etrailer. And today we're taking a look at the Titan Snow Tire Chains on a 2022 Toyota RAV4. And our tire size on this RAV4 is 235/55R19. These are your ladder style, snow tire chains. So these are gonna be really effective at your starts and stops. They're also gonna be twist links.
So these are gonna be really good for snow as well. Not as expensive as the square link chains which are gonna be better for ice. So if you're in an environment with more ice, check out the snow tire chains with the square links but otherwise for just everyday snow, these will be good. And the twist links are also just gonna offer you a smoother ride compared to the square links as well. These Titan chains come in this bag.
It's not the greatest or the most durable but it's something to keep them together that you can just throw in your trunk as well. It's a pretty simple installation. Let's go ahead and show you how to do that. To begin the installation, we're gonna lay out our chains, making sure that there are no kinks in our links. And there is a, a hook side and a smoother side.
We definitely want the hook side on the outside of our tires. So I have it laid out to where I can just grab the closest chain and just drape it over the tire. So that is what I'm gonna do. Gonna grab it from the center so that we are as even as possible. And while I'm here, I'm also just making sure that all the hooks are away from the tire.
And then I will meet you around back for our first connection. And keep in mind, you are gonna be on the cold snow when you are attaching this. So definitely a good idea to practice this at home before you are stuck outside in the snow having to do this. And I still have some slack, so I can go up a couple links. Let's go. So now at the front, we are gonna stick the hook through the link, like so. Bend it back and attach it to this triangle, like that. And now all we're gonna do is hop in the vehicle, roll over this a few times, come back out and check how secure it is. And if it's snug and secure then we're good to hit the road. Handy-dandy thing are some extra self-tensioners that you can get here at etrailer, but to put these on, we're gonna make sure that the hooks are facing outwards as well. And we're just gonna distribute these as easy or as evenly as possible I mean. I'd like to start from top to bottom and then do the sides. But this is just gonna add extra security for your chains to stay on your tires, just like that. And that does it for a look on the Titan Snow Tire Chains on a 2022 Toyota Toyota RAV4..

They got me through the biggest Nov storm in 50 yrs here in Big Bear Lake, CA.
Not yet installed, they are packaged well and are the correct size for a Tacoma T265/70-16). I placed my order. I got a confirmation email that also advised that I would be notified when the item shipped. The package showed up in the mailbox but I never got the shipping email or tracking number.
work good but fell off due to link becoming straight.
Fantastic customer service. Ordered on a Friday afternoon, received by Tuesday, left to a snowy camp on Thursday. Chains did not list my tire size on the bag but included them on the website. Tried the sizing before I left home and they fit perfectly. Received almost 2 feet of snow and chained the fronts and backs in order to pull a 30' trailer up a nasty forest road. Chains were easy to put on and worked like a dream. Totally recommended, especially for the price.
Still in the bag, in the truck. Don’t think I will need them this year. Strange weather in the west…
I haven't used the chains yet but a plastic box to store them in would have been a plus.
Customer service was excellent. Quick response to the order, quick shipping, and a follow-up email was received right after delivey.
These chains worked perfectly . Used them on my Tacoma and was able to drive some snow and ice covered non-plowed state forest roads without issue. They were easy to install and remove.
Fit like a charm. Very durable, obviously heavy duty. Makes me feel much more confident than using some of the newer chain designs. Those of you ordering a set of chains like this for the first time don’t forget to order chain tighteners.
Chains are what I need perfect, but blue rubber tensioners broke first time putting on,
Super fast delivery. Excellent product!!
Needed these chains for a snowboarding trio this December. Installed them in my yard to make sure they fit, and figure out which link worked best. Now that i know what link to use, next time it should only take sbout 10 min to put them on. I really like how they stay away from my wheels so should not scrstch them. My yard was very soft from recent rain and you can see how well the chains dig into the mud. Should be really good on snow/ice.
1/15/2024 I couldn’t go up my property, so on 1/17 I ordered this chain with the TCMA2 Rubber chain hook. On 1/22 I tried it was a beautiful climb, and decent, my driveway has a 17 degree slope. I try again next day with a glance of ice, NO Problem! A year later, same success! Love to have the right tool.
The chains look very sturdy. I would give them 5 stars if someone can tell me why some of the crossover connections twist the circumference chain links 90 degrees. See my pictures.
Good product good support
They were good I'm use them on my skid steer . They work great.
Fast shipping. Quality product
The shipping was incredibly fast and for the price these are great quality. Haven't used them yet, but they'll work nicely for helping my 2wd pick-up get up those hills around town.
This is more for the customer service than the product because we haven't and probably won't need to use these for a while. We were shorted a tire chain but customer service was quick to get that fixed for us and I really appreciate that! Thanks!
I needed these chains for upcoming ski trip just in case for my van. I ordered basic chains because of clearance concerns. Etrailer selection on chains and most other items is extensive. I have ordered many items with Etrailer before and always enjoy great customer service, useful installation and use videos, and quality products. Their new product line of camper/RV parts and accessories is almost overwhelming with so much selection. Etrailer has very competitive prices and coupled with qualifying free shipping--can't be beat. I was immediately notified by Erica that my order was not in their warehouse, however it was expected to arrive in plenty of time and Erica provided information and alternative solutions along the way. Very satisfied with Etrailer, their products, and their pricing.
We had previously purchased chains from etrailer that worked great, but we upsized the wheels/tires of the plow truck and needed larger chains. So we bought these chains and used them to enlarge the four previous chains. The new ones did exactly what we wanted them to do! I have always had great success ordering from etrailer and highly recommend your company. Great service and great value!!
Great product, thanks for the service and follow up. I should have bought the tensioner
These chains are amazing! I use them on a 12 passenger van and they install very quickly and easily. I have driven on unplowed roads with 2' snow drifts and have hauled trailers through muddy fields without getting stuck. I highly recommend them.
I used these on a 2wd open diff F150 with a camper. The traction difference is amazing! I never lost traction! If you’re on a pass that warns “chains or AWD”, don’t go without chains or off road tires. I puttered along at 30 in the unplowed lane watching a clown in an AWD BMW slide everywhere in the plowed slush, holding up traffic.
Anyway, the chains themselves. I’ve used diamond pattern chains with a cable on the inside and fancy nonsense on the outside before. The cable always collects snow, and the multiple connections on the outside is confusing. These ladder chains were easy and simple to put on and take off. I used tensioner bungees also. You will get a bumpy ride, but it smooths out as you speed up. Anyone that claims ladder chains don’t have lateral grip hasn’t used them and doesn’t understand the physics of why chains help.
Great for going up a pass periodically, but not something I’d use daily.

I keep these chains in my van all year since they have helped in mud just as much as snow. Ive never gotten stuck when they are on. Make sure you get the rubber chain adjusters as well so they dont move - Item TCMA2
