It took a while for this answer, but I only use my traile once in a while. The problem with my last harness was the box kept blowing the fuse for my brake lights and so far this hasn’t;t happened. So fa I am happy. Thanks.
Super easy install on my '05 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Get the additional mounting bracket thats not included for a real clean install. No wiring flopping around your bumper. Literally took me linger to get my tools together. 20 min to install.

Replaced a problematic 10 yr. old trailer wiring harness in a 2016 Jeep Cherokee Laredo. This prior harness had been spliced into rear taillights with quick-splice connectors and a separate 12V wire was routed under vehicle frame to engine area and clamped to positive battery terminal. Fortunately, this etrailer.com (#C55451) harness included well labeled "quick-connect" wiring connectors directly to Jeep factory taillight connectors without any splicing or additional 12V hot wire required. Everything was included in the etrailer.com kit and was easy to assemble thanks to excellent instructions. Really liked the YouTube video showing exact install of this same kit by an etrailer.com technician. Also, I had one quick question before I started so I called Noah (customer service dept.) at etrailer.com and he quickly answered my question. He also assured me he or another technician would be available via phone support if any further questions came up during or after installation. In summary, a very well designed product from a company that is serious about making their customers successful. Very pleased with this item and would highly recommend as a DIY project.
