4-Way Trailer Wiring Recommendation for the 2001 Ford F-150

Question:
I just need to be sure this will fit my 2001 ford f-150 5.4 L. The connection is on the bumper on the driver side. Picture is attached. Can I just plug that in and secure it? Does it need to be grounded?

Yes, the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C55256 that you referenced would work well on your 2001 Ford F-150 and would simply plug inline with the connectors in the picture you sent us.
You will need to ground the white wire of this harness as well for it to work properly.
