Before installation, it's recommended to lay the cover in the sun for a few minutes. This will let the material expand slightly, so it'll fit over your tire more easily. Then using the built-in elastic hem and hollow-bead welt cord, slip the pliable cover around your spare tire for a snug fit. The hem and cord prevent the covers from flying off your tire as you're driving down the highway, and the soft interior lining won't damage your wheel's paint job.

The drain here at the bottom prevents water buildup inside. The rear seam is elastic to ensure a snug fit. It's very easy to install. Be sure that the drain is at the bottom. We'll start at the top, then just work our way down along the side.

DO NOT use on spare tire mounted on front of a truck. It Maybe lasted 3 months. Have had a different brand on another truck spare & it has been good.

Nice heavy material that appears to be likely to last. Time will tell. Some of the color smudged onto the white. Minor, but noticeable. There was some tissue material that was probably to prevent the smudging, but it must have moved during shipping.

They are still working perfectly. I live in FL and the heat and humidity is tough but they are lasting!
