my 28" spare sits horizontal across top of trailer frame (sunnyside up). This cover fits very snug/tight, which is good; because it is so tight that water can't pool in the cover. The cover fits across the width of the rim and sidewall and over and down the tread to just begin up the other side; which means you don't see any of the tire. The construction is very heavy vinyl with a cloth-like interior surface that is against the tire. The color is silver and has a pattern that looks like the raised diamond stamped metal you see on aluminum tool boxes. It is described as UV and Cold Crack protected. Time will tell as to how it holds up but it passes the looks tough test.660808

Just put the cover on today. It fits. That is significant because the first product I bought from another site didn't. This one feels substantial and well made. It covers almost all of the exposed rubber, exactly its purpose. We will test out its ability to stay on at highway speeds next week on a long tow. The "diamond plate" look is silly but inoffensive. Gave a 4 because pretty much nothing is worth a 5.

I am so impressed with the quality. I ordered a second for my wife's CR=V. We had several purchased from Amazon that ultimately failed. This fits with larger 215/70R15 and 215/75R15 for Gen 1 CR-Vs. The silver matches well with silver and forest green colors.1114809
