. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Fulton Square Drop Leg. Now, this drop leg is designed to pair with a well-known outer tube, which would create a stabilizer jack for your trailer or for your application. Outer tube is sold separately. You can find it at etrailer.com. It would be this piece right here. This piece would get welded on to the trailer, and then you could see how you can adjust the leg to the fully retracted position, or you have all these adjustment holes, as well.
This piece right here is made from a steel construction. It's very strong and durable. It's gonna feature that really nice zinc plating, which is gonna offer corrosion resistance. The overall length, from bottom of footplate to the very top of this drop leg, it's gonna measure right around 20 inches. The tube itself is a square tube, measures one and 11/16ths of an inch by one and 11/16ths of an inch. The footplate on the unit, measuring edge to edge going this direction, it's gonna measure about seven and a half inches.
Going edge to edge this direction, it's gonna measure about . Pretty close to four inches wide, here on the ends. In the center, it's gonna measure about three and seven-eighths of an inch wide. It's a little bit more narrow there. There are some holes in there, so if water collects on there, or dirt and moisture, it'll drain through.
Really nice design. Footplates are great. They really spread out the applied weight, especially on softer surfaces, to help prevent sinking. The capacity of this unit when paired with an outer tube is 3000 pounds. This hole right here's gonna be your fully retracted spot, so if you're in transport, you want to make sure this is retracted all the way. And then these right here are your adjustment holes.
You're gonna have six adjustment holes. From the center of this hole, to the center of this hole, measures ten inches. And then each one is separated on center by two inches, so that's gonna be your incremental height adjustment. The distance between this hole and this hole on center is four and a half inches. Each hole has a diameter of .52 inches, which is just over half an inch. From the center of this adjustment hole to the bottom of the footplate is six and one quarter inches. That's gonna be that usable but fully retracted position. This one, again, is for when you're in transport. This one would be your lowest setting. This one would be your highest setting. So from the center of this one to the bottom of the footplate is 16 and one quarter inches. And then again, remember, you have an incremental height adjustment of two inches. When it is in the fully retracted position, from the center of this hole to the bottom of the footplate, you're gonna have a hang down measurement of about one and three-quarters of an inch. That's gonna do it for today's look at the Fulton Square Drop Leg.

I needed a way to stop my trailer from squatting when loading my tractor. I used some square tubing to create a housing for the camper jack to slide in. I drilled holes and spaced them such that I get 1/2" and 1" increments of height. The hole spacing on the jack is 2". It is faster than and crank jack. It works great!
Proper replacement for my Wells Cargo Race trailer. More costly than buying direct, but with the free and fast shipping, it ends up being the same $.
They are what I expected and match the description given. Shipping was fast even right before Christmas. Pay attention these do not come with the sleeve.
These drop legs were exactly as described. They arrived quickly and are ready for our next project. We plan on adding wheels to them to help move our trailer in the driveway. They install our already installed Fulton stabilizer jacks in a jiffy.

Good product and much better than replacing the whole jack. The one thing I did not realize was that the holes are made for a 1/2-inch pin whereas the pin on my original jack is 5/8. I got a smaller pin for very little cost, but I wish I had seen the pin size before ordering. It may have been in the specs, as I did not think to look. Good quality product though. I'd buy it again.

Why they don’t come with the pin for lock the drop leg
Nice and sturdy, will work well to take the weight off the rear end of the trailer when loading heavy equipment.

1 year later and jacks still look new I highly recommend.
