Today we're going to be taking a look at the Camco Vinyl spare tire cover. This vinyl cover protects your RV spare tire from dirt, water, sunlight and corrosion. It features a UV and water resistant fabric, that's designed to wick away moisture and it's going to feature heavy threads that are nylon. It's going to help ensure weather proof seams. This is colonial white in color. The cover easily wipes clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent. On the inside, it features a very soft, non scratch lining and it has this elastic cord here around the back.

It allows for an easy installation around the tire and secures the cover around the tire for a snug fit. This tire cover is designed to fit tires with an outer diameter of around 31 and 1/4 inches. That's going to do it for today's look at the Camco vinyl spare tire cover.

Purchased this in 2023 and its still going strong after a year in the Texas sun. The first few times on the highway, I removed the cover to keep it from blowing off but then I tried leaving it on and no issues with highway speeds. It fits my 175/80R13 perfectly and stays on tight. No problems with the elastic stretching out. It's rare these days to get a product that actually does what it's supposed to!

At the end of the second year, the cover was still protecting the tire, the elastic was still good but the white vinyl was cracking and starting to peak. Considering that it was a $20 cover, I thought it lasted a reasonable length of time, considering what the Texas sun can do to almost anything. I replaced it with another Camco cover.

@Dan Glad to hear it worked as expected. If you think about it, you could throw on a protective coating of vinyl spray or wax, if you happen to have some laying around. Might not be worth the money to go out and buy an expensive bottle though.

I bought the Camco cover over the other brand because it covers both sides of the tire and not just the front. My spare tire is mounted to the tongue across from the jack so the sun shines on it from both sides and I'd like a cover that covers both sides and this one does it.

Looks great, fits fine. Some discoloration in the packaging, but overall pleased with how it looks. elastic seems very strong and the edges wrap way around the back of wheel so I feel good about it staying on in the backdraft of towing. Most of all, it was far cheaper on etrailer than other sites including the big A so there's that...

Spare tire cover for my 225/75/R/15 tire good. The elastic fits just tight enough to hold well but allow it to be removed if needed. The material is vinyl with soft fleece inside.

Mathematically, a 235/65-18 tire is 30 inches in diameter. Ultimately, the wheel size does not matter. It is the overall diameter you need to look at. A cover for 29-3/4 diameter tires, # CAM45343, is a potential candidate. I have linked a video review for you.
