Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this replacement eight foot long Carbon Steel Cutting Edge for your Fisher Snow Plows. Now, this part here will replace the Cutting Edge that's on your Fishers Snow Plow. This part is comparable to the Fisher part number 5533, or 6598. This is designed to mount to the bottom of your blade to break apart any ice and scrape away the pack snow.
It is constructed of a C-1090 steel for premium strength and heavy duty impact resistance. It does resist corrosion by the black powder coat finish it has on it, and this part is made in the USA. A few specs on it. The overall length from that end to that end is 96 inches long. The height, six inches tall, and the thickness on it is a half an inch thick.
Now the mounting holes, when they zoom in and just show you these mounting holes right here, they accept half inch diameter carriage bolts. Now those are not included, you would have to supply those, and there are eight holes on this blade. Now, the distance between these mounting holes if we put a ruler on it center to center, measures 12 and seven 16 inches. And the total weight on this whole blade is 81 pounds. But that should do it for the review on the replacement eight foot long Carbon Steel Cutting Edge for the Fisher Snow Plow..
