Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a brief look at this replacement cutting edge for your Meyer snowplows. Now, this is going to replace the cutting edge or the scraper blade on the bottom of your Meyer snowplow. And as you no doubt know, this is going to mount to the bottom of your blade to break apart that ice and scrape away pack snow while you're clearing parking lots or driveways. This is comparable to the Meyer part number that you see there on your screen, 09133. Now, this is made here in the USA and this is constructed of C1090 carbon steel, giving you that premium strength and the heavy duty impact resistance.
And the Brinell hardness number is from 250 to 300. This has a black powder coat finish that's going to resist corrosion. And let me pull out my tape measure here and give you the overall length first. And you probably can't see that there from that angle. It might be too far away, but this is indeed 96 inches long.
And the overall height, we're sitting right at six inches tall and this is about half an inch thick. And the mounting holes will accept half an inch in diameter carriage bolts and those bolts are not included. So if you do not already have those half inch in diameter carriage bolts, you will have to pick those up separately. You have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 holes for mounting. And the distance between these holes on center is 12 and 7/16th inches center to center.
Now, additional measurements with the diagram can be found on this product page if there's some other measurements that you're looking for that I did not cover here with you today. I think that the price charged for a 3/8ths thick blade saver is outrageous, 3 years ago I could have bought the same thing for around a hundred bucks.
