Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Pacbrake Alpha HD rear axle double convoluted airbag suspension kit. Now this kit has been designed to fit your 2020 and newer Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500s and 3500s, either with the two or four wheel drive models. And take a look at the other information I have listed there for you on the graphic. The AT4 and trail boss models should use the kit number that you see there on your screen.
That kit does come with the required two inch spacers, and then this is gonna be for all trucks, including those with the OEM fifth wheel prep packages. This will not fit cabin chassis models and this will not fit vehicles with aftermarket CURT fifth wheel packages. So all that to say on custom fit parts such as this kit, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com, input to your make and model of your vehicle and our fit guide will confirm if this will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you. Now, heavy trailers, full beds of gear piled high, that all changes how your truck handles. So as you probably know, without the right support, you're gonna feel that immediately sagging in the rear, poor handling, and a ride that's gonna get unpredictable very fast.
This airbag system is going to put you back in control with up to 5,000 pounds of load leveling support. This is gonna help reduce squat, improve steering response, and keep your truck stable when the weight stacks up. But as you know, every haul is different. That's why these springs will give you full control over the ride height and firmness with adjustable air pressure from five to 100 PSI. So if you're hauling a fifth wheel or a full bed of gravel, you can just crank that pressure up and then when you're unloaded and heading home, you can drop that pressure back down for a softer ride.
With the manual inflation valves included, tuning your suspension for the day's work is gonna be pretty easy. Now these springs are reinforced all the way through with heavy duty end caps, which you can't see right now, because I do have these kind of loosely assembled. But you do have these heavy duty roll plates. They're gonna protect the bags. The bags also have 20 internal support wires that are going to add to their durability and their strength.
And then we have these powder-coated steel brackets, and then the hardware, which is included. I don't have it all laid out here on my table, but I do have a picture here showing you everything that you're gonna get. So with the brackets, the bags, the hardware, everything is designed to put up with virtually anything you throw at it. Whether it's rough weather or rough roads, this system is going to a great job of giving you that support that you're looking for no matter what conditions you find yourself in. The precision laser cut brackets are custom fit. They are designed to bolt cleanly to your truck's existing mounting points. And this kit is designed to work with your setup right now as it stands and wherever your upgrades may take you down the road. Again, you're gonna be able to inflate manually with the standard air valves right out of the box. No extra parts are needed, but maybe you already have an onboard compressor. If so, that's great. This is gonna connect easily to most existing setups. And then if you're planning for something in the future, like maybe an in-cab wireless controller, that's not gonna be an issue either, because what you're doing with this kit is you're basically laying the foundation for future upgrades. So this is gonna be able to grow with you. So again, this is gonna give you up to 5,000 pounds of load leveling support, but be aware of the fact that this does not actually increase your vehicle's weight carrying capacity. So you wanna make sure that you're not exceeding your manufacturer's recommended weight limits. Installed this past weekend. Haven't towed with it yet. Nice construction and finish. I have a 2025 Chevrolet Trail Boss 2500HD and the spacers are NOT needed. Measurement for needing the spacers in 7" and above between jounce cup and contact pad. My space was 5.5" to 6".

Direct bolt on, plug and play
The product is a great product. After installation was completed and the air added to the air suspension, it raised the rear end of the van about 2-3 inches.A very nice improvement.
Installation instructions definitely need better quality diagrams.
Easy to install and work just as I had expected. Great finish on brackets and quality hardware. Easy to follow instructions. Highly recommend these airbags!
The 2" spacers are definitely not needed for a Trail Boss. I could barely get them in, and now the ride is super stiff. Now I have to get back under the truck and remove the spacers. Not looking forward to that. It was very difficult installation, for no reason.

Put about 1800 miles on these last weekend. Was picking up a car that's heavier than my normal race car on the ramp truck, so I wanted to give the truck a bit of help. Good news, it worked well. Truck rode beautifully, loaded or unloaded.
The instructions could be a bit more clear, in regards to the clinch stud. I had that on backwards at first because of how things appeared in the picture. Also, I know most things are DIY but installation was about 80% assembly, 20% actual install. If these came already assembled, it would have saved a lot of time!
