Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look together at this Pacbrake Alpha HD Pro rear axle airbag suspension kit with internal jounce bumpers and stainless steel hardware. Now, on your screen, I am putting the fitments there for you. This is going to work with various years of the Ram 3500, 2500, and 1500. So on your screen, I do have that list there. Now, it is important that you go through our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.
Just input the year, make, and model of your vehicle and answer any other questions that it might have for you, and our fit guide will confirm if this kit will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you. But as you know, when the load gets heavy, your truck is going to need more than just those factory-reared suspension springs hanging on for dear life. These airbags are going to give you up to 5,000 pounds of rear axle support, keeping your truck level and steady even when your trailer is loaded or your bed is packed and the miles are long. So what that means for you is no more rear end sagging, throwing off your braking and steering or your headlights pointing up into the sky. Now, bottoming out doesn't just feel rough.
It can actually wreck your airbags. That's why this system includes internal jounce bumpers. Those bumpers are inside each bag, as you can see there from that example of a cutaway of one of their airbags from Pacbrake. So even with no air pressure, your suspension has a built-in safety net. You're going to be able to safely run at zero PSI when unloaded, which means no harsh rebound, just that smooth factory-style ride.
Now, as you can see here, this kit does include stainless steel braided airlines. They're going to be more durable and resistant to wear compared to the standard rubber lines. You're also going to get these stainless steel roll plates, which help protect the airbags along with schrader valves. So you're going to be able to easily inflate or adjust the air pressure using a standard air source. Now, on your screen, I'm including a photo there.
You're going to get two sets of hardware. The top photo is going to be the standard hardware that typically comes with these bags. But the bottom picture is the upgrade. It's the stainless steel upgrade that you're going to be receiving with this as well. So I just wanted to give you an idea of what to expect, but that stainless steel hardware, like I said, it's a big upgrade because it's built to last in those harsh conditions. Stainless steel does a great job of resisting rust and corrosion much better than standard materials. It's also stronger and less prone to damage, so you're going to be less likely to deal with leaks or wear over time. But as you know, every haul is different. That's why these air springs give you full control over your ride height and firmness with adjustable pressure from five to 100 PSI. So if you're hauling a fifth wheel or a full bed of gravel, you'll just crank up the pressure. And then when you're unloaded and heading home at the end of the day, just drop it back down for a softer ride. So with the manual inflation valves included, tuning your suspension is going to be very easy, very straightforward. Now, Pacbrake is one of my favorite air spring kits that we carry here just because the bags are premium, the materials are premium, the bags have a one-inch thick, a corrosion-resistant end caps. They're also reinforced with 20 internal support wires, giving you that maximum strength under the load. And then these also feature these precision laser-cut powder-coated brackets. Again, they're designed to bolt cleanly to your truck's existing mounting points without welding or drilling to your frame. So again, this is gonna give you up to 5,000 pounds of load leveling support, but just be aware that airbags do not actually increase your truck's weight carrying capacity, so you want to make sure that you're not exceeding your manufacturer's recommended weight limits. One final note, if you get these and you want help with installation, on this product page, we have a link underneath the photo section that you can click. That's gonna take you to our installer locator. Answer some of the questions that it has there for you, and that locator will find an installer that e-trailer has partnered with in your area to do the installation for you. But if you happen to have any other additional questions, don't hesitate to reach out. We want to make sure that you're getting exactly what you need. Well, again, my name's Andy.
