Features to know about

Instant Leveling from Your Phone: Bluetooth Control with Dual Path Operation

No need to crawl under the truck or mess with a handheld controller—this system connects straight to your smartphone. The Firestone Air Command Extreme Duty Compressor uses Bluetooth to link directly to your phone, so you can inflate or deflate your air springs right from the app. The dual path setup means you can fine-tune two air springs independently or adjust two pairs equally, making side-to-side or front-to-back leveling smooth and simple. Compatible with both iPhone and Android, it turns your phone into a full control center.

Fast Response Under Load: Extreme Duty Compressor with 2-Gallon Air Tank

When you need to adjust air pressure quickly, this setup delivers. The Extreme Duty compressor puts out up to 150 psi with a 100-percent duty cycle and a flow rate of 0.94 CFM at 100 psi. It fills from 0–30 psi in just 7 seconds and 0–60 psi in 18 seconds. Paired with the 2-gallon air tank, pressure changes happen fast and stay consistent, so your suspension reacts exactly when you need it to.

Built to Withstand the Elements: Durable Mount-Anywhere ECU Design

Firestone engineered this system to take on real-world conditions. The electronic control unit can be mounted anywhere and stands up to moisture, salt spray, road chemicals, and temperature extremes. Whether it’s a long haul or a weekend trip, the system keeps performing without fuss or corrosion.

Constant Control for Heavy Loads: Reliable 150 PSI Output for Stability

Towing or hauling often means quick changes in weight or balance, and this system keeps up. The 150-psi compressor maintains steady support, reducing sag and improving handling when loads shift. The 100-percent duty cycle means it can run continuously when needed, keeping air spring pressure dialed in for a stable, level ride every time.

Complete System Ready to Install: All Lines, Wiring, and Hardware Included

Everything needed for setup comes right in the box—air line, wiring harness, and mounting hardware. With the compact compressor dimensions of 11-1/4" long x 3-15/16" wide x 6-7/8" tall and a tank that measures 14-1/2" long x 8" tall x 7" in diameter, it fits neatly into tight spaces. Once installed, adjustments happen wirelessly, giving you full control and peace of mind wherever you drive.

Installation was a bit of a chore due to where i wanted the air compressor and the gage. Used it this weekend and it worked very well. Makes it easy to add air or remove air from the air bags as needed even when you don't have an air hose handy.

by:

The pump has been in place now for 4 months. It was easy to install and it paired with my Android phone without an issue. I placed it in a rear storage compartment of a 31 foot Class C. Easily connects from the driver's seat or outside in the front of the Coach.

by:

The Firestone compressor has been a great addition to my truck for my airbags. If you are installing airbags for your truck make sure that you are to install an air compressor you won’t regret it.

by:

A great product with easy installation directions. The Firestone Air Command air compressor keeps me air up, or down, for all of my heavy loads. I wouldn't have a pickup without one!

by:

Just installed this product on my 2020 ram looking forward to see how it goes pulling my fifth wheel around easy installment easy running the wires and hoses very good instructional videos on etrailer.com

by:

Good Kit. Easy to install

by:

Mounted to the frame of truck.Been operating for a year and works great.

by:

The compressor is a big plus for the air bag helper springs I installed. I love that I can tow my fifth wheel and adjust the air as needed. As soon as I park the trailer I can adjust the pressure to 5 lbs for a really smooth ride and then air them back up when I hook up to the trailer again.

by:

Absolutely love them! It took a minute to get acclimated to them after going without or a much lesser system. Now every time I hook up to a trailer they get adjusted. Live the on the fly ability to adjust according to the road and load conditions. I have and will continue to recommend these to all my friends that tow.

by:

Once I got the ecu code in, everything went smoothly. My frame was too wide for the component bracket. A couple threaded holes and I was back in business. Looks nice, works great.

by:

Works great! Routing air lines into the cab and finding a place to mount the controller was a bit challenging for my 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD, but the end result is very clean and useful. I should have installed this years ago when I originally put air springs onto this pickup truck. My primary use is to level the load and provide more support for my Lance camper. Adjusting the air spring pressure is much easier and quick now!

by:

This kit pairs perfectly with the Ride-Rite bags on my 2012 F350. Installation was pretty simple. I mounted the pump in the driver side rear seat storage area and wired it to one of my Upfitter switches. There was plenty of air line and pigtail wire. I was using a bicycle pump on a shrader valve and this beats the crap out of that. I tow a trailer with 960 pound tongue weight, 2 kayaks on the tonneau cover and a long bed full of gear and this levels it out perfectly. I use this with a weight distribution hitch and still have minimal sway.

by:

Seems to work well but after having it in the winter I would not recommend putting this on the frame rail as it tends to freeze up! I intend to take it off of the frame rail and install in the engine compartment!

by:

I pull my boat with 25lbs,my 5th wheel with 85lbs and driving around town 5lbs all at the press of a button. The system works perfectly.

by:

This is a must buy to go with the helper bags. Remote or phone makes it easy to control the truck. I love it. Truck handles like a dream with the bags and air.

by:

Great little air compressor for my 2014 Ram 2500. Nice fit under the bed. Made the truck ride better when towing my fifth wheel and when empty

by:

The installation was pretty easy and it worked just like it supposed to. The compressor pump up fast and the remote works good.

by:

Putting this in by yourself is a bear when lying on a creeper and a 2019 Chevy Dually doesn't have a lot of options for location. Read that as 1. But it is on and all wired up and working fine. Put airbags on a previous truck years ago without a compressor, I was a poor GI. This is SO much better. Just takes a little time, think it out and plot your path for cabling and hoses to avoid the exhaust.

by:

I gave this product one star because there wasn't a option of 0. One of the biggest mistakes I have ever made. #1. The ECM, or computer, whatever they want to call this thing that runs this system, It is just a monitor. When your air psi drops to low all it does is log a code and tell you you air system has a leak. I would think it would kick on and build the air psi up, nope, it just logs a code and shut down the system until you clear the codes. #2. You have to take off the pump stops above your axle to install the ridiculously stupid system. So I thought ok, there must be bump stops inside the air bags, and ordered it anyway. Well I was wrong. When you take the bump stops off over the axle and you come upon a huge bump as you can do traveling around the good ole USA, the air bag bottom out, so you have the full force of the huge bump you just hit coming down on you axle, not good. We hit a bump that snuck up on us in Florida over by Okeechobee Lake that was possibly the biggest bump I have ever encountered in all my travels, and I swear I though it has cracked my axle, no bump stops to protect it. As soon as I got home I took this lousy system off my truck and put something better on, a much better system.

by:

Great compressor with the option of using the included remote or my cellphone. The two presets allow for quickly switching between normal empty bed setting and the setting for when the 5th wheel is connected.

by:

The compressor gets extremely hot if it runs for even a short while getting the bags up to around 80 pounds. The ECM module also does not retain the last setting if you place the system on switched power. I choose switched power due to how hot the compressor got and am not willing to risk it running nonstop if there was a leak in the system. When I initially installed it there was a small leak and the compressor ran nonstop. There is supposedly a timeout but it ran nonstop until I disconnected it from the battery. I have previously owned an extreme duty system which worked incredibly well.

I haven't installed this yet.

It works great, connected to phone easily. Installation & connection point were fairly straightforward.

  • Recommended Air Bags and Compressor w/ Bluetooth for a 2015 Ford F-350
Hey Lucas. The air bag kits don't require any wiring run to the cab and we've got a couple of options for wireless compressors that will not only handle the air bags but also be able to air up tires. To add a set of air bags to your 2015 Ford F-350, I recommend the Firestone Ride-Rite Red Label Extreme Duty Air Helper Springs item # F2703. These air springs have a 7,500 lbs capacity and are compatible with in bed hitches. They are compatible with dually and the single rear models as well....

  • Will an Air Bag Kit Help with Squat When 5th Wheel Towing with a 2020 Chevy Silverado 3500?
Hey Javier, great questions! Air bags are the absolute best for 5th wheel towing because you can adjust them on an as-needed basis plus you can add an air compressor kit to the mix so you really can adjust them on the fly as well as have air on site for different things you might need while out on the road and at the campsite. For your application I recommend the Firestone Ride-Rite Red Label Extreme Duty Air Helper Springs # F2709 because they are the most rugged and offer the most support...

  • Recommended Air Bags and Air Compressor w/ Tank for a 2024 Ford F-250
Hey Aaron! I am going to recommend you go with the Firestone Air Bags item # F95FV over the Air Lift item # AL29DQ you were looking at. They both use good air bags but the Firestones are quite a bit more durable. They use a crimp rolled design as opposed to band clamps to secure the bags. This creates a pretty strong hold too. The Firestone air bags will support the rear axle when your truck is jacked up or on a lift. You would have to disconnect the Air Lift air bags. The Firestone Red...

  • What 7,500 Air Bags do You Have for a 2016 Sierra 2500HD with B&W Gooseneck Hitch?
Hello Matthew, The # AL57595 you were looking at is for the Ram trucks. For your 2016 Sierra 2500HD we do not have the Air Lift 7500's, we do have the Firestone Red Label with a 7,500 load leveling capacity # F2709 which will work great with the # BWGNRK1016 (B&W part number: GNRK1016). You only want to go with the 7,500 bags if you are really carrying a load over 5,000. If your load is under 5k I would go with the # AL57338 which would also be compatible with the # BWGNRK1016. • Recommended Mounting Locations For A 2 Gallon Firestone Air Tank
Hi Dave, Firestone has a no-drill mounting bracket # F2530 to mount the air tank from the # F49VV and it's pretty typically to just mount it to the outside of the passenger side frame rail right around where the cab and bed meet. If you have the space you could mount the tank to the hat channel under the bed. Jake made a video on his Ram doing this, which I've attached below, that you can use as a reference if this interests you. Personally, I'd go with the hat channel mounting if you...

  • Recommended Air Bags and Compressor System For a 2020 Ford F-350 To Also Air Up RV Tires
With wanting to air up tires on your RV I recommend going with a Firestone Red Label # F95FV along with the Compressor Kit # F49VV for your 2020 Ford F-350. This compressor kit includes their extreme duty compressor which will last longer than most other compressors having a lower duty cycle. The controller is dual path as well so you can adjust the pressure between the left and right spring for uneven loads.
