Question:

I have 2020 Ram 3500 HO diesel, 4 WD, short bed, crew cab, factory puck system. Problem, new 5th wheel is causing the rear end of truck to hunker down to much. 5th wheel has hitch weight of about 3,300 lbs. Was thinking about air bag system with on board air if possible. What do you recommend?

If you are getting a lot of squat when towing with your 2020 Ram 3500, the Firestone Ride-Rite Extreme Duty # F2710 will definitely be a good option. This is rated to 7,500 pounds when at full psi and will get the back end of your truck back to normal. It can then be deflated down to 5 psi when not towing to restore the stock ride feel.

With this being an extreme duty system, I suggest going with the Firestone Dual Air Command # F49VV is rated for heavy loads and is dual path so you can adjust either side to get the most even towing possible. The 1-Gallon tank also allows you to air up the bags quicker and the inflation hose can be used to air up tires if needed as well.
